Thanks for checking us out! We specialize in Texas BBQ, bit with our own twist of flavors. We believe in moist meat that doesn’t require any sauce on it, although we do have bbq sauces. We are a small place with a small staff, but we do our best to accommodate everyone that walks in our door. Hope to serve y’all soon!!

I work at a construction site and Nine Line BBQ has a food truck out there. They have great food, speedy service, and are always cheerful. I love their Brisket Frito Pie! The prices are reasonable and the portions are big. I definitely recommend Nine Line BBQ.

Now this is Texas BBQ! We were traveling through from Colorado and we’re looking for BBQ spots. We chose this spot because it is veteran owned and I dont think we could have chosen better! We were greeted at the door and though it was packed (a really good sign) our waiter was amazing! He knew the menu inside and out and was so attentive. Thats just getting started. The food was hands down- stellar! We tried a large amount between the 6 of us. The ribs slid right off the bone and all of the meat was tender and juicy! The sides are carefully crafted to balance the meat and together the meal is perfection! We were lucky enough to spend some time learning about the history of this place from the owner who is passionate about her work. If you are looking for a great spot that is locally owned and operated, give this place a shot!

Very rustic/homey vibe. Funny signage all around. Food is excellent. We got the brisket burnt ends appetizer (delicious!), the family combo with all the sides, and the banana pudding dessert. Everything was high quality, appropriate temperature, and very tasty. Highly recommend the Jalapeño cheddar sausage. Only one server at the time, but he was attentive and friendly. We never felt neglected. Will definitely return!

If you’re anywhere near Amarillo, get yourself to Nine Line BBQ. This place isn’t just smokin’—it’s commanding firepower. The brisket’s juicier than a good story, the ribs bite back just right, and that jalapeño cheddar sausage? Pure BBQ ammo. Load up your plate, soldier—this is flavor worth fighting for.

We really wanted to love this joint. We love supporting small businesses, especially ones that are veteran owned and help within the community.

Unfortunately the brisket was underwhelming. We asked for fatty but got lean that was dry and tasteless. The rib tips were good. The pork ribs were very good, but the sides were just Ok.

I really want y’all to succeed so PLEASE step it up a lot!

This is my second time coming to Nine Line BBQ in Amarillo and I live 10 hours away! Food is superb. Meats are flavorful and juicy. Sides are delicious and complement the meats well. Service is outstanding. I would come here more often, if I lived closer. These are good people with a great product and a great cause. Come give them a try. You won’t be disappointed!!!

I am so glad we stopped here! Learned it is veteran owned and operated. A GREAT story behind “Nine Lines” so please go and hear the history! Demetri was our waiter and and did a magnificent job taking care of us, best ribs I’ve ever had, the smoked chicken is moist which is a rarity with chicken. The coleslaw, I wish I had bought more and taken home. If we come back thru Amarillo will definitely stop again. Great place for family, easy to get to from I-40. Please go and support this veteran owned business, I promise you won’t be disappointed!

First time here. It did not disappoint. We got in just in the knock of time to get burnt ends and pulled pork !!
Husband ordered burnt ends. I ordered 3 meat plate. Sliced brisket. Pulled pork. Ribs. Sides = mac n cheese and bbq beans.
And of course we had the banana pudding.

1. The staff was super nice
2. The staff hustles !!! These folks move fast. Ain’t no slow motion going on around here.
3. Food was great.
4. Great veteran vibe. Thank you for your service !!

We will be back.

I live right behind 9 Line and have never tried it, but smell the smoke every morning going to work. Service was very fast and friendly. Got the 2 meat with coleslaw , which I mis- ordered, meant to get the potato salad. Don’t like cole- slaw but this was dang tasty. The other dish was The Medic!! Smoked mac n cheese with pulled pork on top. This was just way to good. They also have a smoked meat loaf, haven’t tried yet, but heard it is amazing! Will update. Stop in and see then. Monday is meatloaf day at least i still think it is. Go see them won’t be disappointed!!
