Almost a cross between a sit down restaurant and fast food. The place was very casual and friendly. The food was OK. It reminded me more of new Mexican food rather than Tex Mex. A little more bland tasting. Prices ok. The hot sauce and chips costs extra, but only 1.50. The hot sauce wasn’t special. Tasted like spicy tomato sauce. Again, NewMex flavor.

First of all, we had never been to Nina’s.We are from out of town and for them to have this bad of service…this food is not good. We went in as a family. But we were not accommodated as a family. We sat separate… ordered our food….The food was not that great, getting ready to leave….There was another family that came in. I don’t know maybe they are regulars, but the waitress at Nina were able to accommodate a table for them. We, as a family of 11 could have waited 5-10 minutes, but apparently we couldn’t because how the tables were arrange…Our money is not good enough…I’m assuming…We all have the SAME money… Do better next time Nina’s…my name is Lorena Tome and I am from Albuquerque…..!!! Terrible…!!!

Great food that is reasonably priced, excellent in taste, and authentic in style. Service is friendly and quick. The restaurant is located in a strip mall, so parking is not an issue. Staff are friendly and helpful.

I walked in right after their 5 PM dinner opening. A server took my take-out order right away. I waited patiently as I watched one person after another walk in and take away their called in orders. When I asked why my order was taking so long and others were receiving theirs, I was told it was because those customers had called in their orders. My take away from that response was that instead of walking in immediately after opening to place an in-person order, I would have received my order faster
if I had sat outside in my car and called in my order. I was then told at 5:21 that it would be another 20 minutes before my order would be ready. That would amount to an almost 40 minute wait for my take-out meal for 2 people. That was unacceptable to me because the restaurant was NOT busy. It was in fact, almost empty of dine-in customers. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the person at the register. She went into the kitchen and returned with my order promptly. My stacked beef enchiladas had hardly any ground beef. I had ordered a medium guacamole and received only a small. I could have made it myself at home with a better result in the same amount of time. Definitely my first and my last trip to Nina’s.

Little lunch place, ok food. Family run place that apparently had the kids as “servers”. They Didn’t fill drinks (water), maybe because we’re not locals, had to get my own silverware, again maybe because we’re not locals, then got looked at weird by the “servers” as I waited for the one person who can finally let me pay my bill, weird environment unless you’re known I guess, but I’ll probably not go back, they definitely don’t seem to follow the thing Nina wanted to show, everyone’s welcome and everyone is family.
