I love Nina May. I’ve never had a bad dish here! This was my third visit, for restaurant week this time. $55 for a wonderful set of dishes that you felt full after. Cocktails are also fantastic. Everything they do is fresh and flavorful. All very creative as well. And even though they’re $16, don’t skip on the bread rolls! They are one of the best items on the menu. There’s patio seating, as well as upstairs and downstairs indoor seating.

So glad I finally got to try this spot! Had an amazing dinner of a la carte options. One of the best espresso martinis I’ve ever had. For my second visit, I’ll need to try the Chef’s menu, which is very reasonably priced.

I recently hosted a private birthday party for about 18 people at Nina May, and it was absolutely incredible—easily one of my best visits yet (and this was my third time here!).

Ben was our server for the evening and truly went above and beyond. He was attentive, timely, and made sure our wine glasses were never empty. He checked in often to ensure everything ran smoothly, which made the whole experience feel seamless.

The managers, Peter and Arie, were also fantastic. They both made it a point to check in throughout the night, making sure everything was perfect. That kind of attentiveness really makes a difference.

The food? Outstanding. Every course from the Chef’s Choice menu was delicious, and the kitchen did a great job accommodating dietary restrictions without compromising on quality or creativity.

I’ll absolutely be back to Nina May. And if you’re thinking of hosting a private event—don’t think twice. This is the place to do it!

We had the tasting menu which was very fairly priced especially if you come very hungry, and the food tasted very hearty and healthy. However, many dishes on the current seasonal menu seem to fall short of being fantastic.

The rolls were incredible but the Philadelphia chicken dry and tough to chew.

A farm-to-table spot with a great chefs choice for two offering. Get the wine pairing! Portions and speed of service were just right, highly recommended

The decor is cute and the set up makes it a good meet up spot. Service was excellent as well.

We came for brunch… and well, we opted for the shareable plates and main course. The “chefs choice” for $39 wasn’t appealing to me but to each their own.

Classic cheese omelet- was good, loved the side of arugula.
Spaghetti squash cheese croquettes-tasty
French toast- filling, felt more like a dessert

Overall, the food was prepared well but nothing on the menu to entice me to return.

Nina May is an absolute gem. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and beautifully curated. The service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling rushed. And the food? Simply fantastic. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. It’s clear that care and creativity go into every detail. Nina May delivers the perfect balance of incredible food, exceptional service, and a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

Nina May was an excellent place to hold a medium-large group (13 guests) for a birthday dinner. I was able to work with their team to set up a menu and plan. Food, drinks, and service were all great. Would easily go back again!

Went for Sunday brunch and were delighted that we chose this place to go to. They had decent vegetarian options, by the time we went, they ran out of the veggie croquettes (perhaps next time). We stuck to the shared plates Ala Carter menu, we loved the mushroom dish from the menu. It was super delicious with lots of umami. The pasta dish was good too but the mushroom one was definitely blew us away. Overall, great place for casual brunch and some tasty cocktails.

I am a believer. This is the best meal I have had in a while. Stopped here on my way home from work and got the tasting menu. Everything was just delicious and to top it off, Harry my waiter gave me excellent service. He was so personable and knowledgeable about the menu and made me feel like he was genuinely appreciated my business. Top tier service at a time in DC where eventhough the prices are high the experience isn’t always reflective. Everything I tasted tonight was well seasoned and thoughtfully constructed. The Star??? The Ceaser salad ❤️ I’ll definitely be back!
