When life gives you nimbu… make khaana-peena! India’s best food comes straight from the streets — from the galees, carts, and dhabas where hometown chefs cook loud, fast, and with feeling. Food that sizzles, bubbles, crunches, drips, and zings — alive with color, energy, and masti. Nimbu channels that spirit into inspired twists on Indian street-food classics. Dishes are prepared fresh, built around bold, balanced flavors, and designed to be deeply satisfying. House-roasted masalas, handmade chutneys, and a squeeze of chota nimbu bring brightness to every bite — street food reimagined for everyday dining.

The food more than lives up to the atmosphere. Everything arrived quickly and was executed beautifully. The pav bhaji was crisp, rich, and perfectly spiced. The bhel puri had a bright, zesty balance that was both refreshing and deeply satisfying with every bite. The paneer pakora was crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and a total comfort dish for both palate and soul.
Our kids loved their lassis and happily polished off their portions, while my wife and I enjoyed a warm cup of chai to close out an unforgettable lunch. Truly one for the books.
We’ll absolutely be making this a regular stop. Conveniently located in the Trader Joe’s complex, it’s the perfect place to grab a quick bite that transports you straight to the heart of Indian street food — all from the comfort of Princeton, NJ. And unlike the street food that might make you hesitate elsewhere, this is indulgence you can enjoy with complete peace of mind.
The wings were cooked perfectly and I’m very picky about wings, so this says something.
I got the chicken tikka wrap, and my sister got the one with spinach curry. They BLEW our minds. They were filling, warm; and cozy on a rainy Tuesday afternoon. Just what we needed. I don’t eat out as often anymore because everything is so toxic and makes you feel like crap. This food does not! I felt satisfied yet energized. Crazy.
If I could, I would eat here every day.
So glad they replaced the awful BBQ chain that was here previously. (A fun Easter egg: they kept the cow!) I hope they continue to innovate their menu as their popularity grows and I look forward to my next lunch here.
