I haven’t eaten at Nik’s in over 30 years, but I will say the food is as good or better than it was then. The small salad bar with a really tasty spaghetti, lasagna, and Italian bread definitely hit the spot. The food was great, the service was good, and it is a clean place. The interior isn’t contemporary and hasn’t changed in years, but that gives this 30 plus year old pizza joint its quaintness.

The pizza there was a all meat md. It was okay, but not great. It was kind of dry where the toppings were but crunchy crust. And the ham looked like sandwich meat ham. Didn’t try the buffet. The cashier was friendly though.

Pros: Great baked spaghetti. Price reasonable. Good service. Accommodating staff. Warm seating area on a cold day. 🙂
Cons: says they serve beer, but had absolutely no beer. How does that happen? Some pasta comes with a salad, some do not. Kinda confusing. Spaghetti does not, fettuccine does?
But the food tastes great. At least what we had.

Well I will say if you want an adult beverage don’t go here. Their menu shows tons of types but they do not service. Also sitting across from us was a couple with their grandchild that wanted milk. Don’t ask for that either. The food was okay. But nothing to write home about. I think they need to recap the menu so it shows what they really have. I was not impressed. Also they only say people on one side of the restaurant , and lighting was an issue.

I had the senior buffet this time. The salad bar is awesome. I feel they should take pizza requests though as both times I had buffet there was never a vegetable pizza which I love. Also there are never many pizzas on the buffet and they sit and get dried out. The cinnamon pizza sat so long it became chewy and not very good. They used to have 2 different kinds of cookies that my crowd enjoyed. I also have enjoyed their baked spaghetti,club sandwich,Ribeye sandwhich,omelets,baklava and cheesecake. I live in Kenly and it’s convenient but I think I’ll drive to Smithfield next time I want a pizza/salad buffet and go to Pizza Inn. BUT aside with my problems with the Pizza buffet, I have enjoyed many meals there.Their stuffed peppers and soup are great. I think they should put the stuffed peppers on the menu and serve soup all year long.

The food was decent on the buffet. The waiters where nice but it seem like they only take care of there own tables. I also noticed a lot of people ordered off the menu I guess because the food is hotter then what is one the buffet. P.s. if you get a pizza with a lot of toppings be prepared to have more toppings then you can handle.

Recommended by a friend from church..so glad we tried it..I got the hamburger steak with gravy and onions..came with steak fries..toast and a side salad..my wife got a sub with onion rings..my hamburger steak was huge and delicious as were the fries..would have liked more options on the salad bar..service was very good..price was $42 with tip..would do this again..they offer Buffet Mon thru Thurs 11-2 and 5-8..$14.9..

This was my first time trying Nik’s pizza.
So many options to choose from! I finally decided on a pepperoni calzone, and my bf ordered the lamb gyro. Service was fast. Server was patient and quick. Our food was hot, and all of it was delicious. I really loved their marinara, a hint of tanginess, and it had ground beef. My bf said their gyros are now his favorites gyros, better than any restaurants that serve them in the Wilson County.
For any one who is extremely worried about Covid but wants to dine in, everybody was wearing their masks. Restaurant looked cleaned.
Also, we saw the buffet stand nearby, but they’re not doing buffet due to Covid. I would love to try it once they open it back up!
Plenty of parking space, and Kenly is a small town. Not really busy on a Sunday.
Overall, nice experience. Definitely worth to try it!
