I was in Harrisburg for a day and wanted to find a thin crust pizza place. So glad I chose Niko’s, it was delicious! Exactly what I was looking for in a plain cheese pizza. Almost NY style. Fries were good, cheesesteak was also pretty good. I was happy with the value. If I’m ever back in the area I’ll definitely return.

On an absolutely FRIGID day, my son and I walked from the Harrisburg Tower to here. As it happens, it was also the day that the city held their Fire and Ice street fair and the bandstand was just outside the door. We could feel the music through the walls!
This is your typical ‘shoe-horned’ restaurant. It was warm and the staff/owners talked to you like you’ve been friends since their great grandparents came over on the boat!
We ordered Philly Cheese steaks and they were delivered by a little old lady.
I’m not an expert, but I was always under the impression that the subs were served on crusty rolls. These were served on Italian bread, causing the flavors to be very sweet. It was DELICIOUS! I can’t wait to try more food next time around.

Family Owned and Operated. Ozzy Cabrera and his Daughter always treated we as family. When I worked adjacent to Niko’s at the Verizon Phone Building I was sad the day my contract ended in Harrisburg knowing I wouldn’t be local anymore for that “PIZZA TO DIE FOR” ….the food is truly genuine, no processed products like other sub shops that use Steak-umm Sliced Steaks on a cheesesteak sub. Everything is always fresh and tasty. I miss my friends at Niko’s, but occasionally I still make my way there on weekends or from passing through.

Place was clean..bathroom as well. Food tastes fresh.(ham & provolone).Also the cheeseburger hoagie was great,I had to steal some from my woman when she expressed how good it was..(she yelled st me).Owner and staff were excellent hosts. Prices were standard..unlike competition all on this strip. The occasional drunk would show up is the only downfall..being sober and skilled..they were put in their place quickly by me and the owner saw nothing. Highly recommended..just not on a late fri or sat night.

Absolutely amazing. We were in Harrisburg on business and decided to stop in for a quick bite. Little did we know it would be amazing food, friendly and fast service and just a great experience. Try the house special… it’s worth every penny. Would eat here all the time if we live in PA.
