Excellent service and very friendly staff. The bento box was absolutely delicious and the portion was very generous. My son greatly enjoyed the fresh salmon. The complimentary ice cream provided for him was a thoughtful and impressive gesture. Highly recommended!

The food was nice and the staff was nice too. We had the bento that comes with teriyaki, sashimi, tempura, salad, rice and soup. It was quit some food and they were very tasty. The bathroom was quit a travel made me start laughing half way.

Sushi spot in downtown Berkeley. Ordered the miso soup and Philadelphia roll to go. Lots of indoor seating no outdoor seating. Quick and friendly service. Enjoyed the miso soup! The Ingredients were fresh tasting and good sized portions. There was more cream cheese than salmon in most of my roll which is my main complaint (see photo). Otherwise they did a decent job and I’ll probably be back to try another roll. Would recommend at least once!

Pretty solid, accessible, and affordable local sushi spot. Fish was fresh. Bento boxes were sizable. There was a lot of tempura on ours. Maybe too much; felt pretty heavy by the end. The sashimi was definitely a better value compared to the California rolls or gyoza for the bento boxes. Chicken Karaage was good but not as flavorful as I would have liked. Could have used a mayo or dipping sauce.

I love sushi, and I’ve been to allot of restaurants throughout the bay, and I gotta say that Nikko Sushi is probably my favorite place now. The service is ridiculously on point. The staff all greet you as soon as you walk in, and they’re all so warm and friendly. The food is wonderful! We got the baked scallop roll, the raiders roll, the Lion King roll, and an appetizer of shrimp tempura. We also ordered some sake, because it was $1 an order, which consisted of about 4 little cups worth, and they also brought us miso soup. It was all so amazing!! I can’t wait to go back, I really recommend this place!

A coworker highly recommended Nikko. She couldn’t have been more wrong. Service was good, not great. The hot tea I ordered was not even warm, didn’t taste good either. The chicken karaage appetizer was very disappointing. They use VERY fatty small pieces of chicken thigh meat. The chicken was extremely chewy with a texture like rubber. No real flavor other than salty. The karaage does not come with any dipping sauce or fresh lemon. Hamachi Lover Roll and Orange Blossom roll both did not taste fresh at all. Price before tip was $51.65. That is a big price for really low quality food. Would I eat here again? Definitely not

Absolutely delicious!! The food was so fresh, well seasoned. With sushi, it’s all about freshness. The service was amazing as well. Love our bento boxes. The salad was yummy, the tempura crispy and again fresh! We definitely will return. Took my daughter and her friend and had a marvelous time!
