I still said, “No way. I swear.”
We arrived and whoa. They were open! To my surprise, it was the first time they opened on a Sunday. That tickled my fancy and I was not at all disappointed with the service.
We had gotten an array of appetizers and some beer. Soju too, which I like a lot.
The menu is a lot different from when I used to go there/worked there (2016). But damn. They are doing great in my book. I really liked the service and would definitely go back again!
Actually, I have been also getting to-go after that experience.
We just moved to the area and tried this place off a friends recommendation! Amazing! The service was incredible, food was amazing and Sarah made our experience even better! Do not be afraid to try the Korean stuffed squid, we were in heaven from the first bite! Definitely will be back and bringing more friends!
But don’t sleep on the kitchen menu. The Nagasaki pasta is packed with flavor. It’s definitely one of those dishes you think about days later.
The whole staff from the owner to the servers to the chefs behind the counter is warm, friendly, and genuinely makes you feel welcome. It’s the kind of place where you feel taken care of.
If you’re into sushi (or just good food in general), Nikko Sushi is 100% worth checking out.
