I ordered for pick up the person that answered the phone was the sweetest, had several interactions as she called back to confirm certain things on the order to make sure it’s right. The sushi was probably the best sushi I’ve had in the manalapan area. (Better than Konbu & Yayoi). I ordered classics the yellowtail Jalepeno-was spot on. Spicy tuna crispy rice was gorgeous nicely topped if you’re not into sauce I would order it on the side. The Nigiri was fresh the toro was soo buttery, white tuna was nice and light really good, I also got the salmon and yellow yellowtail nigiri so fresh. I also ate the spicy salmon I would like to try the spicy tuna roll the roll was a 7.8 still good. Spicy scallop was amazing next time might add some crunch. Overall I’m very impressed, my husband picked up and said the place was clean & with this being said I ordered 15 min before closing they really were amazing. Highly suggest checking them out. Oh and all that plus two special rolls for my husband was ONLY 105$. AMAZING. You would pay over 150$ for an order like that. ( I never ever leave reviews – this was worth it)

We started off with salmon tacos, a treat that you rarely see in sushi restaurants in the area unless you’re going to NYC. Highlights include the Autumn of New York Roll, the Lobster Dragon Roll, and the spicy scallop roll. If you’re in the area and are craving sushi, Nikko Sushi is a must-visit.

I’ve known the owners and tracked them down from when they had a restaurant with the best sushi in Forked River. I know for a fact other customers have as well and are happy he found a place within driving distance to open a location. They are very generous, accommodating and creative. They have something for everyone here.

The best sushi in Manalapan, finally we have a great sushi restaurant near us so we don’t have to drive far for a good sushi, I respect a sushi restaurant that has Sea urchin/Uni, the rolls are great, not a lot of rice and the fish is so fresh and tasty, i already texted my daughter and my niece the website and asked the to try it. We are definitely coming back soon because we are sushi lovers.

I ordered the scallion pancakes, avocado and mango roll and the sweet potato roll. The scallion pancakes were basic scallion pancakes, but the dipping sauce was a little sweet and unique — it was very tasty. The avocado and mango roll was nice: the mango offered a subtle sweetness, and the avocado was fresh and creamy. The sweet potato roll was tempura sweet potato with a sauce. It was a nice combination of textures and very delicious.

I’ve been looking for sushi place in manalapan for past 2 years. We used to live in Brooklyn and search for Brooklyn quality sushi is over. Same prices as you expect to pay and green hot tea is free like in Brooklyn.
