There were things I liked about the food here and some things I didn’t like. The cream cheese/crabmeat wontons were folded in a weird way that made them difficult to chew.. the dough was too thick instead of light and crispy. The flavor was good, but they would have been so much better if they had been folded correctly.

Hands down the best “Japanese style” restaurant in the area. First the sweet and sour sauce served with the crab rangoons is the best I’ve ever had. I ordered the hibachi chicken and I must say it was cooked to perfection. The chicken was tender and juicy, almost all Asian places overcook the chicken to the point it’s dried out and tough, this chicken was amazing cooked right and seasoned. The shrimp sauce was better than most, it was very light tasting compared to everyone else’s. The owner is extremely friendly and courteous without being overbearing which is truly refreshing. Nikki is now my favorite Japanese restaurant. My only problem with this restaurant is a couple of paintings are in the wrong sequence, it’s cherry blossom trees. This place is outstanding, give it a go.

This place is now under new management. Like very recent. They are so kind and accommodating. The menu is different. It’s a smaller menu but with that, you get fresher and better quality food. The food and service was excellent and we will definitely be going back. We started NOT to go here because of the bad service in the past but really wanted hibachi. So glad we decided to give it another shot because we would have never known about the new management otherwise. And they are giving a 10% discount to seniors/military….and one other one. I think law enforcement or emergency personnel but I can’t remember.

Me, my wife, and 3 kids went in to eat. Waited about 15 mins before someone came to take a drink order. Then after waiting about 20 mins after ordering our food, it slowly starts coming out at different times. A third of my plate was room temperature (rice/sweet carrots). My middle child ordered fries… a simple order of JUST FRIES, we then had to ask where they were because everyone had finished eating, and still no fries. No refills on any of the drinks. Worst service at a restaurant I’ve ever had.
