Pretty good food. Pretty good service. Can’t say I had the best Italian meal or service here, but there were definitely some highlights that will have me coming back.
For one, wine Wednesday! Half off up to $40 bottles and $20 off anything more than $40. They had a wine from prisoner under $40 which was really nice for under $20. Jordan would be a great deal for under $80 next time. The other drinks were pretty good, meaning strong and not outrageously priced. I suggest the Dirty Nina and my GF the Petite Poire.
Food wise, I tried the Ciopinno Pasadena which has a lighter broth than I’m used to, but very good. Price was reasonable, but didn’t have crab so there is the trade off. Other seafood was fresh and nicely prepared I asked for spicy, which they accommodated as well. GF enjoyed the lasagna and rest of the group seemed to enjoy the other dishes, like calamari, shrimp martini, burrata and pasta.
Service was pleasant. Had a small issue when I asked for bread, but not major. This place is old school and clearly has a process 🙂

Everything was great except the pasta was a little bland and and there wasn’t much flavor. It was like watered down Alfredo sauce. I have been coming here for years and will continue to do that but the new chef needs to kick it up a notch. Please don’t let this review detour you from going to this place because they are very good and the atmosphere and service is always excellent. Just needed to make that point. Would have gave it. 4.5 stars!

Excellent pizza! So sorry I waited so long to try this restaurant. Great value, and a diverse menu. The antipasto salad was perfect, with a very nice dressing. The pizza crust was tasty, the toppings were terrific. Awesome!

Make a reservation before you arrive, they were nice to squeeze us in on a Saturday early evening. Service was good until we paid the bill then they stopped refilling our water/iced tea, and we spent 4.5 hrs just enjoying our dinner guest. It was nice because they didn’t push us out the door.
The food quality and quantity were great. Prices are high but it’s nice to treat yourself to a nice meal with friends every once in a while.

This place gave me the feel of Del Rae in Pico Rivera. Love the atmosphere, service was excellent. No hovering over my table. Food was delicious. Fell in love with the cheesecake dessert! I will definitely return when I am back in the area. It has an old time feel that you have to experience.

What a pleasant surprise. As a chef, I am a bit critical of the food I receive but this restaurant didn’t disappoint. The appetizers are decent but you can get them anywhere. The gem of this restaurant is the main dishes and the salads. I upgraded my dinner salad to an antipasti for $5 and Wow. One of the best I’ve ever had. An absolutely perfect salad. And the main courses were equally amazing. What a gem on Rosemead in Pasadena. Highly recommended

Wow, fantastic quality of food and service! The wait staff was on point, and the food was delicious. My Aunt is a regular here, and it’s obvious why! I had a daily special that was absolutely done just right!
