This is one of the most beautiful and delicious coffee shops I have ever visited! The atmosphere is curated to be elegant and goth. Very dark, beautiful, and cozy! They have a few merch items for sale that fit the vibe from local artists. The staff is SO friendly and the owner chatted for a bit and was so sweet!
We had gotten the Souixsie and Majesty coffees and The Fat Bee and The Yule Feast croissants and everything was DELICIOUS. The Fat Bee is one of the best things I have ever eaten, and the coffee was so unique. I will definitely be coming back!

There are only a few places where one who has always lived on the perimeter of societal norms feels at home and Nightshade Coffee is one of those places. The black walls adorned with gothic decor warmed my black heart. Staff was helpful and friendly, and they make outstanding coffee! The Cemetery Dusy and Deadly Nightshade did not disappoint. Flavorful and bold coffee drinks served ice cold. And the croissants were insanely large! The Little Lad was not so little, but a creamy delight that was enjoyed by your narrator. Fresh berries and delicious cream encased in a fluffy and fresh pastry. This place has to be one of NJ’s best coffee shops. The aesthetics alone are worth a visit, but the food and drink are the nails in the coffin! Can’t wait to go back.

Heard a lot this fun new shop and had to check it out. Went on a Saturday morning and it was alittle busy but was still able to get a table. The staff was awesome and we ended up getting a couple iced drinks (Cemetery Dust is AMAZING) and treats from the pastry case (I’m sorry- FUNFETTI SCONE?! Yes please!). Everything was really good and we even got some beans to bring home. Will definitely be back again!

Was in the area and decided to stop by as I’ve heard great rhings about this cafe on TT. Love the vibe and aesthetic in here! Spacious, good to hang out/ catch up woth friends. Counter seating available for those who fly solo. Service is welcoming and friendly. They are very patient if you want to customize drinks or have any questions regarding the menu. They sell other cool things like sprays, candles, and incense.
Cemetery Dust wasn’t too sweet, and I liked how I can actually taste the coffee. Howevwr, it’s just too much chocolate for my liking. The Cure is my favorite. They actually whisk the matcha! There’s many flavors of syrups to create your own flavor combo. My only regret was not trying their sandwiches, which looked fresh and delicious. Portions seemed big as well!
Parking lot (paid) behind the establishment or free street parking (2hr limit). There is another lot a few blocks away. I went on a weekday, at 1pm, and found st parking just fine.
I don’t live close, otherwise I’d be here every week to try out all the different drinks and flavors!

Love love love the vibe here. We went the first Saturday after it was highlighted on a popular instagram so it was BUSY, but the cashier had such a nice candor and was so helpful. The wait was worth it — I got a Type O and it was awesome. My girlfriend’s Cemetery Dust could have been a bit stronger but was still delicious. I’m truly taken aback by how reasonable the prices are.
The decor and menu was really cool and intentional, didn’t seem like a business person just googled “goth aesthetic” and threw stuff up. Loved seeing local spooky art and witchy wares for sale as well.
My family lives in Westwood and I never really go anywhere except for their houses, so i’m excited to have a reason to come to town early before a visit!

This coffee shop is absolutely stunning!!! The decor is so beautiful. Perfectly dark but elegant goth vibes. So many cozy spots to sit in and hangout. They even have outdoor seating! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I got the Cemetery Dust coffee and it was just divine. They have some witchy stuff towards the back of the shop that I believe are for purchase; like spells, essential oils, etc. I will be back to try pastries and their sandwiches! Living down the street from this place is gonna be a doozy for my pockets, and I’m not mad about it!

Friendly, respectful team with outstanding service. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Hunter and Katie, who offered excellent drink recommendations to start with. I tried the Cemetery Dust and the Blue Matcha—both were fantastic, and I think I’ve found my new favorite spot (and maybe a new drink addiction!).
The atmosphere is great, with a bar area where you can sit and watch the magic happen as drinks are crafted. The vibe is welcoming, there’s plenty of parking, and the overall experience was exceptional. Highly recommend!

Visiting back home for the weekend and was excited to try this place. The coffee was decent, the food was great, the service was seriously lacking. The barista who took my order was rude. I asked for 2% milk which is listed on the menu and as told “whole or skim”. The space is very small and minimal seating.

This coffee shop is gorgeous. The gothic aesthetic is to die for and the workers are sweethearts too and amazing as well. It was my first time here and I tried the cemetery dust and it was so good! I will be returning to try the rest of the menu and just to hang out too

Wonderful vibe! The owners were present and take such pride in their homemade syrups, pastries, and products. The thoughtfulness in the details (skull spoons, decor, “sand witches”, etc) is consistent and tracks with the the preparation and taste of the food & drink. The staff is personable, patient, knowledgeable about their products, and kind. Drinks are beautifully presented and taste as good as they look. Westwood is lucky to have this addition to our downtown.
