Came here for dinner right after traveling, at my daughters’ suggestion—and wow, what a find. It’s a small but busy restaurant on a Saturday night, which is always a good sign.

On the server’s recommendation, I ordered the Spicy Satay Beef Noodle Soup, and honestly… hands down one of the best soups I’ve had in a long time. The broth is deeply layered and aromatic, rich with peanuty satay notes, warming spice, and incredible depth. The heat is beautifully balanced, but it does have a gentle kick that builds—worth keeping in mind if you’re sensitive to spice.

This is the kind of dish that makes you pause mid-bite and just appreciate how well it’s done. Absolutely worth making a special trip just to try it.

Night Owl: My Late-Night Pho Haven

If you know, you know. Night Owl is my ride-or-die late-night hidden gem—the place that’s rescued me more times than I can count when the clock hits 1 a.m. and the hunger hits harder. It’s the kind of comfort food that wraps around you on your best days and carries you through your not-so-good ones.

First things first: always ask about the specials. Night Owl’s rotating menu is half the fun, and it changes often. When a special noodle soup pops up, it’s not to be missed.

– Bun Bo Hue: Deep, aromatic, and unapologetically bold. The broth has that signature lemongrass warmth with a gentle chili heat that lingers without overwhelming. Thick, round noodles hold their bite, and the slices of beef are tender, with a subtle richness that plays perfectly against the bright herbs and lime.
– Banh Canh: Comfort in a bowl. The thick, chewy tapioca-rice noodles are slurp-worthy, and the broth is silky and savory with a clean finish. It’s the kind of soup that feels restorative—simple, balanced, and deeply satisfying.
– Chicken Thigh and Shrimp on Rice: Juicy, well-marinated chicken thigh with a light char, plump shrimp with a sweet snap, and fragrant rice that actually tastes like something. Add the house nuoc cham for that sweet-salty-citrus lift that ties everything together.

The Broth Factor: Whether you’re going classic pho or chasing the special of the night, the broths here are consistently flavorful—clear but full-bodied, layered with star anise and charred aromatics, and never greasy. A squeeze of lime, a handful of basil, and a few jalapeño slices turn it into your perfect bowl.

Noodles and Add-Ons: Noodles are cooked just right—springy, not mushy. The bean sprouts are crisp, the herbs are fresh, and the chili oil has a nice fragrant heat if you want to turn things up.

Late-Night Vibes: Chill, unpretentious, and welcoming. Service is friendly, quick, and they don’t rush you, even when it’s late. It’s the kind of spot where you can roll in with friends after a long shift or sit solo and let the steam from your bowl wake you up.

Pro Tips:
– Ask about the nightly special—seriously. It’s where the magic happens.

Where would I be without Night Owl? Probably hungry and a little less happy. With its soulful broths, rotating specials, and reliable late-night comfort, this place is my go-to—no contest.

The place looks great—a good spot to hang out with friends, but not very family-friendly, especially since they don’t have high chairs for kids.

Service is good; they are very attentive. We ordered Vermicelli, Charbroiled Pork, and Pho. The Charbroiled Pork looked good, but I didn’t appreciate it much as I felt the rice portion was lacking and I tasted a lot of burned parts. Vermicelli and Pho are okay, but not the best.

Out of the 7 places we tried, I think this ranks between 4th and 5th.

The food was really good. Flavourful broth, generous portions, and great value for the price.

They’re open late, which makes it perfect for a late dinner or a midnight snack. Definitely coming back again!

I ordered spicy beef noodle soup with bean sprouts and basil. But came with tripe which I can’t eat. Last time I ordered rice varmicelli with spring rolls and it was way too spicy. They used to be very good but now going down the hill.

Great place for some amazing food, quality service and open till 2am great combo with a limited menu in comparison to other restaurants of the same vein it’s quality over quantity $15ish per soup or vermicelli bowl on average. I put my cup down on its edge and it seemed to explode as sometimes happens, they were super friendly and very prompt to clean it up and ensure I wasn’t injured. Me and my S/O got the sate beef noodle soup and the brisket specialty soup and after both trying and swapping they were delicious with an incredible broth and the brisket specialty soup had incredible melt in your mouth Carrots so I attached some photos with the price availability all three ordering companies like skip, door dash, and uber eats are available and something I always like to ask server staff is do they keep their tips? with some managers now a days pocketing the hard earned service tip they assured me they do and that their owner is very considerate kind and even understands the unfortunate charge some delivery apps add as a charge. Also got told door dash may be the best deal or Atleast is their most popular ordering system.

Will be back as it’s near my bus connection from work and made for a really nice date great food and fed two with soups and a shared appitzer for just about $45

I usually come for Bun Bo Hue. It’s really good. Tried the Pho last night. Great pho broth, light, clear, good flavor. Small restaurant with big flavors and big personality.

Amazing food, great service. Super quick, attentive, and friendly. My family and I got the bon bo hue, pho, and spring roll vermicelli with beef. All of it was so good and we enjoyed every dish! Love the music they play in here as well. Came straight here after a long flight and brought me back to life right away

This place is great. Prices are definitely reasonable as well as the portion sizes. I think it’s the only Vietnamese restaurant that is open past 9 pm. Open til 2 am or 3 am (Fri & Sat). We got there at 830 pm Saturday and just in time before it started to get busier. It is a small cafe style restaurant so it’s difficult to accommodate a group size great than 4.
