Niffer’s Place has been an Auburn staple since 1991. Owned and operated by AU Swimming Alumni, Keely Beasecker, Niffer’s is the go-to spot for craft burgers, sandwiches, salads, wings and entrees. The appetizer menu includes world-famous fried pickles, corn nuggets, buffalo chicken dip, white cheese dip and chicken flautas. Step up to the bar for a cold beer, Famous Fishbowl in every flavor imaginable or a Nifferita. Our award-winning burgers come in all sorts of creative forms. Just ask us to Nifferize It to double the protein. Most burgers can be made with grilled or fried chicken breast, garden burger (vegetarian), black bean burger (vegetarian), hand-crafted lean turkey burger or Beyond Burger (vegan). 100,000 stars!!! Niffer’s catered a Chamber event for our company and the food was amazing and Zack was so easy to work with and provided excellent service. There were lots of positive comments from the attendees and everyone was pleased with the food and the way the dishes were professionally set up. We will definitely use Niffer’s for our future events.

Niffer’s has a reputation for Auburn’s best burgers, and it’s not without good reason. The burgers are amazing, the service is friendly and efficient, and the cost is beyond reasonable. The fried pickle (spears) are a must, and I haven’t tried a burger that wasn’t 4 +⭐. The Nashville tacos are also a solid choice if you aren’t feeling a burger. It’s worth noting that there are no draft beer options here, but, despite that, they have a decent beer selection in both bottles and cans and will bring in a chilled glass upon request. Overall, this is a local favorite of which we will continue to be repeat customers! It’s an outstanding value-great food, drink, and atmosphere for an amazing price!

Love this place! Food is excellent. Should be in diner drive in’s and dives! Have had pimento cheese dips. Rueben, hawaian chicken and burger. Highly recommend. Happy hour prices are amazing!

Had to run an errand in Auburn and decided to try this little gem! We went at a slow time just after 3pm but it was perfect because after eating here we know this place is probably packed during normal lunch and dinner times. The atmosphere is great, very clean. The staff was so friendly and our waiter Eric was a goofball just like us so it was great. My husband and I both got the orange and blue burger, I got Cajun fries and he ordered sweet potato fries, and we shared some fried pickles. Burgers were juicy and flavorful. Both fries were hot and tasty. We really liked the fried pickles and their homemade ranch was done well. We will be back for sure.

First time to visit Niffer’s in a few years. The food was good, our server was extremely friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming. This location had been updated since my last visit. Thought the pricing was a great value too! Will definitely be returning again soon.

Corn nibbles were delicious, char grilled burger was perfect and not at all wet or soggy, and the chicken tenders and Cajun fries with housemade ranch was perfect. With the all that being said, what really stood out to us out-of-towners was the exceptional level of service and friendly atmosphere. Thank you for a wonderful visit!
