This place is really really good. We ordered the Shrimp and catfish combo’s and, everything was Soo good. Also the sides are just amazing as well. Will definitely be back!

I wish I lived closer to this place because I would eat here every day. The food reminded me of my mom’s and grandma’s cooking. Everything tasted homemade and delicious. The service was wonderful. Queen checked on us regularly as well as the young man who kept our drinks full. One thing that stands out is how the customers are treated as guests are treated in someone’s home, service with care and respect. The restaurant is clean and neat. The seats are super comfortable. We really felt at home here. I will definitely recommend them to my friends who are looking for some real good home cooking.

BEST COMFORT FOOD IN KC‼️ If you want food that brings u back to yur grandma’s kitchen THIS IS IT‼️ My belly & soul is HAPPY right now! This was our first time here and we’ve lived here our whole lives. It’s going to be our new go to spot for sure. Can’t wait to try more, but this is what reeled us in. I had the Meatloaf w/ mashed potatoes (yes they are real), green beans & a HOMEMADE roll‼️ My husband had the Smothered Pork Chops, corn, the BEST black eyed peas EVER & HOMEMADE corn muffins! Even though we can’t breathe from eating so much I had to try the Sweet Potato Pie‼️ It did not disappoint!
10/10 RECOMMEND

The server was phenomenal however the food was not. The atmosphere reminds me of my grandma’s house. It was so welcoming. I had the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans.
The meatloaf was terrible and apparently old. The mashed potatoes were lukewarm. The only thing that was decent was the green beans. After eating I immediately felt sick. It was not pretty. The food is mediocre and poorly cooked. I knew it was the food that made me sick because I started feeling sick shortly after I ate it. Highly disappointed as the food was overpriced for the quality. What a complete waste of money. I will not be back.

SO AMAZING! Came gor a nice little Sunday breakfast and can not wait to come back. Eggs were PERFECT, coffee is hot and fresh, service was fast and friendly. Placed was PACKED which bodes well for a breakfast place on a Sunday morning.

Wanted some breakfast and I was close by to Niecie’s so I had to give it a try. If you are looking for a great breakfast, you must spot here. Tried the pancakes and they were to die for. Well worth every penny! Also tried the French toast and it was amazing! Loved everything about the food and we have to go back to try their lunch menu.
