A good place to get some good Middle Eastern food at a reasonable price. The service was quick. The servers did a great job with a handicapped individual who demanded a good deal of attention. They were patience and pleasant. Something that does always occur with this demanding a personality.

Owners are great! Really care about their customers! Very responsive to customer requests. Their Shish Twook sandwich is enough for two of us. Huge small fattosh…salad is also plenty for us with more summac, we love the lemonade without mint and prefer less sugar. This is our favorite go to restaurant. Try the King tea, you will become a quick fan. But this location only NIDAL’s we did not have the same experience at the other store.

Shwarma King is one of my favorite places to eat in Kalamazoo and stands as a real diamond in the rough. The portions are large, the food is filling and healthy, and the staff are some of the kindest people I’ve ever seen work in food service.
My go-to order is typically a chicken schwarma wrap with feta, as I enjoy the combo of feta and pickles. The fries come unsalted which is generally far better than too much salt (as you can always just add salt).
I would strongly recommend Schwarma King for anyone in kzoo looking to grab lunch. The inside may not be anything to write home about, but it’s clean and cozy with a surprisingly solid bathroom. It makes me sad I’m moving out of Kalamazoo and this will no longer be a quick local stop for me.

Cozy, comfy, casual place to experience great food and friendly service.
My family and I stopped for lunch on a road trip and we really enjoyed their lentil soup, generous and fresh salads, shawarma plate and wraps, and falafel wrap. Their house made hot sauce complemented everything perfectly.
We’re only sorry we don’t live closer, but this will be a road trip mainstay for us in this part of Michigan!

Really nice staff! Everyone was pleasant and accommodating.
The food was good, but not seasoned as much as I was expecting. I loved the Lebanese tea with mint, it was very refreshing.

One of my favorite restaurants ever. Everything you get is delightful and it’s always an amazing experience. I love the owner. Makes everyone feel like family. My favorite is the Moujahdrah sandwich and lentil soup. You won’t regret stopping in!!

Amazingly delicious food!! The resturant is cozy and inviting. When we arrived we were greated at the door by the friendly staff and seated right away. They have an extensive menu of shawarma plates, sandwich wraps, salads, small plates, and appitizers. For drinks we ordered the mint lemonade and King tea. The mint lemonade was refreshing and sweet. The king tea is absolutely fantastic and came with free refills. We ordered several appitizers to try including the samosas, fried eggplant, falafel, grape leaves, fatoush salad, and pita with garlic. Every thing came out fast and was delicious. We also ordered the chicken shawarma plate with rice to share. The chicken breast was moist and well seasoned. It was the best shawarma I have ever had. The rice was buttery and delicious. We ordered one of each of the baklava. Everything was so good we ordered more to take out and eat later, and came back the next day for lunch. For lunch we tried the shawarma wraps. I ordered the shawalfel; a sandwich wrap with chicken, beef, and falafel with hommous, tabbouli, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles. Basically the works. It was fantastic. So amazingly good, you have to try it. I can’t wait to go back to K-zoo just to eat here.

I LOVE Lebanese food and my friend (confessed middle eastern food snob)recommended this place while visiting WMU. . Omg! The food did not disappoint! First off, lots of food for the money and great prices… we spent lots because I ordered everything! Lebanese salad, babaganoush, hummus, falafel were all delish! Very sweet servers and the whole staff thanked us when leaving like we were family! It’s a gem!
