Nico’s Bagel is a very popular bagel shop in the Gambrills area. The story behind it and how it got started is touching. The bagels are always fresh and they’re similar to NY style bagels. Foot traffic could get pretty busy here in the mornings and definitely on the weekends, so I would recommend visiting when they first open or order in advance. I tried four different types of bagels from Nico’s. The following consisted of the jalapeño, blueberry, everything and cinnamon raisin with vegan cream cheese spread. The vegan cream cheese tastes kinda similar to dairy cream cheese, but with a lighter taste and texture. All the bagels were plushy, good and fresh, however my absolute favorite bagel is the jalapeño, yum! I would recommend paying Nico’s Bagel a visit.

The bagels were very good and fresh tasting. When you go in, you order in the screen and then you can sit down and wait for them to call your number. I got the salmon locs bagel and my boyfriend got the pork and egg breakfast bagel. It took about 5-10 minutes for the cooked bagel to come out. You also get coffee refills! I recommend this place; with it being the winter holidays, they had seasonal bagels!

The best bagel place around! Super cute and spacious spot with such a fun atmosphere. The staff were incredibly nice and they even had a Santa there. They’re doing a countdown to Christmas deal each day which is such a fun touch. The bagels are creative and unique with some flavors only available for the holidays. I got the Jersey bagelwich and it was sooo good. We also tried a few others including the Oreo bagel which was amazing and not too sweet or overwhelming at all. Definitely recommend!

I was in the mood for a bagel and had no idea this place existed mere steps from where I had been shopping. I popped in and was immediately impressed by the broad breakfast menu. The staff was super delightful and patient with me as I explored their varied options. I got a make-your-own-omelet which comes with a bagel. I added cream cheese. The bagel (chocolate chip) was very good and I particularly enjoyed the strawberry cream cheese that had streaks of real strawberries in it. The omelet was excellent, especially for a fast food/fast casual place. I was also able to take half the meal home so portions are large. Overall I will absolutely be back and am excited to try all their offerings!

This place is a great spot in the area especially for breakfast/brunch. I tried this spot for their viral crab bagel, and boy was it amazing!!! I was able to place my order in advance online and it was ready exactly at the time I requested for pick up. Not only was it on time. It was also hot and fresh. I went on a Saturday morning around 10 AM and the place was packed. I highly suggest if you plan on going order ahead. As I picked up my order, I was looking at plates and everything looked delicious. I also overheard many people raving about the food that they ate.

I ordered the Bacon Egg ‘N Cheese bagel which was made to perfection. The quantity and quality of was satisfying and seasoned very well. Nothing was overseasoned nor unseasoned. And the softness of the bagel was perfected. I’ll definitely be going back! My new favorite place!

Came in for a Crab Bagel and unfortunately they were out by then. I asked the cashier for her recommendation and placed an order for dine in at 10:46am. The place has a great atmosphere and was busy on a Sunday.
It took 24 minutes until my order was ready for pick up. I ordered a toasted bacon egg and cheese bagel and while the size was pretty large, the flavor was nominal, nothing special and unfortunately my bagel wasn’t hot and just a bit warm by the time I received it.
If you do stop by, I’d advise coming with time to spare if there’s a rush. You can get a feel for how busy it is by peering over the counter and looking at the ticket screen for flashing yellow orders.
I’d come back to hopefully try the crab bagel that is only available Friday through Sunday, but would advise coming earlier or order ahead on Doordash.

This place was so nice and busy. They have ordering kiosks and a person to give your order to if you prefer that. The bagels were great, the restaurant was busy but organized and the outdoor seating on a sunny made it perfect. They have Rise Up coffee which offers a nice alternative to the other standards.
