No século XVIII, um italiano de nome Nicola inaugurou no rossio um dos primeiros cafés de Lisboa a que chamou “Botequim do Nicola”. Desde logo, o estabelecimento começou a ser frequentado por conhecidos escritores, artistas e políticos. Em 1935, o Café Nicola foi remodelado, dando-lhe um estilo moderno, decô e geométrico fazendo a transição dos anos 30 para os anos 40.

We had a wonderful brunch experience today! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and relaxing, and everything arrived perfectly. A special thank you to our server, Carminda, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Her friendly service really made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend stopping by for brunch!

Food was pretty mediorcre, compared to other restaurants, its bad.
We paid 75.xx€ for : 1 Octopus Rice, 1 Linguine, 1 Chourico, 1 Milkshake.
Among 75.xx€, was 3€ Bread we didnt asked for, 6.50€ couvert (olive butter) we didnt asked for, and 6.88€ tips that we werent informed about
Service was so so, the lady P****cia couldnt communicate well, was kinda hard-sell on the 3€ Bread, and 6.50€ Butter/Olive plate.
We ordered Octopus Rice, Chourico and Linguine with Prawn.
Octopus is definitely frozen one, not a big issue, just that texture feels mushy, rice tastes acceptable, a little salty with time, but P****cia served it very well.
Linguine is just normal. 7-9 frozen prawn and 1 big tiger prawn (i think)
Chourico is delicious, can recommend.

Arif was very attentive and efficient. I enjoyed my octopus in olive oil with baked potatoes. A proper dining experience for my first time in Lisbon. If not for the rowdy group of men in the al fresco area, I would have stayed to have dessert.

We had breakfast and coffee here, and it was a lovely experience. The place was calm and peaceful in the early morning, creating the perfect start to the day. The coffee was excellent, and the yogurt bowl was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this spot for a relaxing morning meal!

Stopped in for drinks and a mid-afternoon starter. Everything was great that I had (sangria, sausage, espresso martini). The waiter I had was very comical, would definitely stop in for drinks again.

Service is good but once you get the bill they ask if you want to give tips or a review. So everything seemed like more like a fake show to me then.
The second time Carlos Garçon served us here (I know the name because he typed it inside my phone)
Nice and friendly person and got a good service, but he asked if I wanted to give any tips, which I have been asked the first time and only in this restaurant but I have never been asked somewhere else before (not even when traveling to the US). If I do it I do it, if not then no.
He also wanted me to add his name inside the review I guess for a good image or reputation which to me was a bit too much and not a genuine review anymore
