I personally love this place just the way it is, sometimes new isn’t always better. Spaghetti is delicious and meatballs are great. My steak was very good , I did not think to ask if there was a special the day I visited.

I have driven by Nicks many times and laughed to myself about the name, two things you normally wouldn’t associate with each other. The day I chose to finally try it I was rewarded with one of the best meals I have had in the area since moving to the peninsula. The atmosphere is great and the servers are all warm and friendly. But the star of the show is the food. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and reasonably priced. I love the big round banquet style tables so you can have a group and all be comfortable. I was very impressed and it’s now one of my favorites. On my latest visit I had a salad , steak, baked potato and a Diet Coke. Everything was prepared perfectly and was delicious. All for under $30 including tip. The mile high lasagna though!

We had a great day today celebrating a big family event. Our waitress Katelynn was amazing and everything went off without a hitch. The management was so accommodating and kind. Highly recommend this spot for a family get together.

Food was good, nothing our of the ordinary, and portions were very nice. Service was a little slow. Waitress was very nice but seemed a little flustered. Was also a party going on in another room which might have slowed the food coming out. Gyro and burgers were good. Overall good experience, friendly staff.

The portions were huge. I ate 4 meals just on my veal Parmesan. The fries that came with the steak my friend ordered filled a plate. Service was phenomenal. Waitress brought a Togo box without being asked.

Tried for the 1st time, will never go back. Mr.Pibb broken. Wanted a drink-mixer broken. Salad was large bowl of iceberg lettuce & a few cucumber slices and a few grape tomatoes. Bread was sandwich bread slices. Asked about potatoes- waitress said they were instant. Green beans-from a can. Ordered lasagna- huge piece, was dry even though covered in sauce which tasted terrible. Ate maybe 1/4 of it. The waitress was lovely and got the lasagna removed from bill.

When with a friend for lunch today. Overall, the meal was great. We split two appetizers and got the Philly cheese special and the liver and onions meal. Everything was great. Personal opinion the house salad that came with the liver meal was a bit lacking, mostly just iceberg lettuce, but it was very fresh and still enjoyable. The Philly was great!

A year later and I still can’t understand why this place isn’t packed to the gills every night. This time my mom and I went for lunch and basically had the place to ourselves. I had souvlaki and Greek-style rice and she had a Delmonico with side salad and baked potato. Her “small” steak was huge, flavorful and cooked rare, just as she’d asked. My souvlaki was tender and well marinated. Side salad was very simple — just iceberg, onion and cherry tomatoes — but very fresh. Service was great but with long gaps between waitress sightings. Prices were reasonable.

Decent food. Old decor. Could really thrive with a renovation and fresher menu. People have been eating here for years but the place is dated. Locals favorite. Thanks for bringing back the real hamburgers instead of pressed formed patties. Delish burgers. Nice folks
