Solid choice for a food break from a long drive. We were heading from SLC to St. George and decided to visit in the evening. We were right at the start of the dinner rush. The food came out in good time. The ribs were tender, but a slightly strange flavor to me. I liked the brisket. The bacon wrapped jalepenos were not a favorite of mine, but I was happy to experience it.

The coleslaw was nice. It had a similar flavor to KFC coleslaw in the fact that it was sweet and creamy. The recipe is one of my favorites for slaw. The spaghetti was standard. Tasted tomato-y in a good way.

It was a bit expensive but nothing crazy. I might drop in again if I was nearby.

My husband and I drove up from Cedar City to try the all-you-can-eat catfish on Friday. Although the fish was actually Walleye, it was generously proportioned and very well prepared. The server was delightful and cared about our dining experience without being intrusive. The dish was served with fries and coleslaw. All was fresh even the iced tea which I am very picky about. The only thing to me in terms of the atmosphere was that the windows needed to be cleaned. I like to look out when dining anywhere. It was worth the trip and I would return.

Found this place and the picture of pancakes called to me. Made it for dinner. Great great food. Tender ribs with just the right amount seasoning; love that I can taste the meat. Hot Honey chicken wings. Roasted veggies are perfect. Great meal after hiking all day!

Will definitely visit again whenever I’m in Parowan again.

After a full day skiing at Brian Head, we were craving some good BBQ and decided to head down the canyon to Nick’s Smokehouse & Café in Parowan — and we’re so glad we did. The food was outstanding. Everything was flavorful, tender, and exactly what you hope for after a cold day on the mountain.

The service was just as impressive. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. It was the perfect combination of great food and great hospitality.

If you’re skiing at Brian Head and looking for a solid meal afterward, it’s absolutely worth the short drive. We’ll definitely be back.

This is best food in Utah hands down. The brisket melts in your mouth and the tequila bbq sauce was the perfect pair. I’m coming back tomorrow for the pulled pork and Mac and cheese!

Nick also made me a hot tea even though it wasn’t offered on the menu! Wonderful service and people. I’m so happy we stopped here!!!

This was probably the worst meal I’ve had from a restaurant in several years. We ordered the Smoked Mac and Cheese with pulled pork and the Chicken Alfredo along with baked beans and cheese curds. The Mac and cheese was the most bland Mac and cheese I’ve ever tasted. They were out of pulled pork, so I didn’t get to try that, but I couldn’t even get my 3 year old to eat the Mac and cheese either, she left it all on her plate after one bite.
Chicken alfredo was equally as bland, wife was very disappointed in that. It was almost comical how bad the food was.
Baked beans tasted like they were straight out of a can.
Maybe we just got a bad batch of food, but for $45, it was frustrating to not even have a desire finish half of the food. Oh, and the portions were small.
Staff was nice, though

We had Nick’s cater our Thanksgiving dinner and it was so good! The turkey was moist and super flavorful. The mashed potatoes were delicious! Everything was so good, hot, and ready to eat when we picked it up. We’re so appreciate to Nick’s Smokehouse for providing us with a quality meal and now tons of leftovers. Thank you!!

This place was a great find! Pulled pork and the ribs were smoked to perfection! Mashed potatoes top tier. The owner and our server were awesome. We picked up a bottle spicy bbq sauce to take home. Great experience. 10/10 will be eating there again. Worth the stop in Parowan.
