Just ordered 9 pizzas for our basketball team staying at a nearby hotel. The ordering was easy over the phone, they gave me an estimated time of 50min (Saturday night at dinner time). Pizza was delivered on time and delicious! Driver was nice and even gave me a call before arriving to verify where I wanted it delivered (lobby). Would def recommend! The price was more then fair too!

Service was the worst I’ve experienced anywhere. We were seated in a booth in short time. Place was packed. Server came to take our drink order, then sat down with her friends to enjoy her own dinner at a nearby table. Someone else, I assume a manager working behind the counter eventually stopped by to ask if our order had been taken. He brought our drink order. Different Server took our food order. We waited about an hour, then my companion went to the counter to check on our order. Dining Server concluded her meal then eventually made it to our table. I said I wanted our food or the check. Within a few minutes pizza arrived. It was delicious, but we won’t be back due to the horrendous service. Never had a Server who sits down with friends for dinner in clear view, ignoring our order.

I placed an order for pickup, my family doesn’t live in Owatonna (less than 10 miles out of town). We ordered a pizza, garlic cheese fries, and a gyro plate. When we got home, I opened the gyro plate container to see there was no tzatziki sauce. I called back and spoke with a gal regarding the matter. She asked a man what the options were, and the only option was I could wait until I decided to order from Nicks again, get the gyro plate AGAIN, and then I would receive TWO sauces to make up for me not getting the sauce this time. I heard the gal question the man because even she was confused on how this was in any way compensatory. I will never order from Nicks pizza again and I will be sure to tell everyone I know about this horrible customer service.

If you’re anything like me, you’re either on interstate 35 or you will be soon. You probably also like to try local pizza places. Typically, I’m happy if the local pie is above average. This is certainly that, and then some. High quality ingredients, a crisp thin crust, and a slightly sweet sauce make Nick’s a can’t-miss short detour from your road trip. Recommend it and will be back.
