Really nice spot with great vibes — the atmosphere alone makes it worth the visit. Service is impeccable, almost a bit too attentive at times, but always friendly and professional. There is an outdoor patio too, which seemed heated.
We ordered a few drinks and they tasted great, though they were a little on the lighter side. Definitely try the margarita. We also shared the artichoke dip, which was really good and a perfect appetizer.
Parking is easy if you use the public underground lot nearby — about $2.50 per hour until 9 PM, and free after that, which is a big plus in this area.

Nick’s Restaurant in Manhattan Beach truly impressed us. I ordered the pork ribs and was honestly shocked by how good they were—perfectly tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. My husband had the filet mignon, which was just as amazing: juicy, rich, and beautifully prepared. We also tried the crispy rice with spicy tuna, and it was the perfect starter—crispy, fresh, and packed with flavor. The quality of the food and the overall experience made this visit unforgettable. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to.

Nice ambiance. Good service. Delicious food and not overly priced. Decent size portion. Simple menu. Most of the dishes we ordered were all good except for thai salad. Butter cake was nice and warm: one of the best I’ve had in a while. Complimentary birthday cake. Highly recommend this place.

Let me begin by letting g you know that our server, Vanessa, was the best! She made several recommendations, and they were spot-on! One plate was a center-cut filet, and it was cooked to perfection, medium. The anchor order was the salmon, and it was terrific; the presentation and flavor were unbelievable, and it was very tender. Our server then suggested the butter cake, and with an espresso, it was the best! Thank you, Vanessa, for a fantastic experience, and your management should note that the front line is what made this establishment so good! We will definitely be back and highly recommend the restaurant to everyone.

I had a great time here. Welcoming servers and great food. Our server John was amazing. He took good care of us and we are coming back because of him also. The manager Destiny checked on us! Make sure to check this place out and get the butter cake at the end…it’s so worth it. My dinner was sushi and pan-seared salmon, Chardonnay to top
It off. Wow good food!! The ambiance made it better!

We came for a casual dinner and accidentally bought the Austin Hope experience — aka the most regretful bottle on the wine list. I can’t believe they still serve it; it tastes like grapes that went through an identity crisis.

That said, the bar was lively, the crowd was local, and the food was solid — not “write-home-about-it” amazing, but good enough to make you forget (almost) about the wine.

Definitely feels like a neighborhood go-to spot for an easy night out… just maybe stick to cocktails.

Salmon was fresh but was dry and overcooked. The sea bass however was cooked perfectly. The California salad and Mai Tai were also excellent. Service was good.

We had an enjoyable lunch at Nick’s in manhattan beach on a Saturday morning. Service was great. Coffee was cold, so the had to brew a new batch for us. I tried the fish sandwich. It was ok 3.5/5. Nothing to write home about. I also tried a bit a the chicken katsu salad. 4/5. To much going on in it. Way too many mangoes. The spicy tuna crispy rice appy was decent but not sure if it was worth $19. All in all not bad but I think there are better options in the area.

Wonderful Evening!

We had such a lovely evening at Nick Manhattan Beach! The food was delicious, and the portions were generous – exactly what we were hoping for. From starters to dessert, everything was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor.

The location is fantastic – close to the beach with a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. On top of that, the staff were incredibly hardworking, friendly, and attentive. Their warm energy really added to the whole experience.

We’re definitely coming back and will recommend this place to friends and family. Thank you, Nick Manhattan Beach!

Nick’s Manhattan Beach was a perfect choice for our grown ups only lunch with my husband’s family.

Parking was crazy during the time we went around 2pm. We were driving around for 15 minutes trying to find parking. Funny enough, we finally snagged a space in the parking lot across from Nick’s. 2 hour metered parking limit. Ugh.

We had a reservation for 10 guests. They sat us at a big round table on the patio. Adeli was our lovely server and she was very sweet and attentive for the duration of our dining experience. Amazing service.

The menu looked so good. Everything was pricey, especially considering it was only lunch time. But this is a nice restaurant too so the prices don’t really shock me either.

I opted for the Chicken Katsu Salad. The salad had Chicken Katsu, mango, heirloom tomatoes, red peppers, crispy carrots, serrano peppers, peanuts, napa cabbage, arugula, asian cilantro dressing. Yummy! I was super happy with my choice because the presentation was on point but more importantly, all the flavors complimented each other. The textures of this salad were on point. Chicken Katsu was fresh and crispy and was a nice touch to the salad all in all.

The Blackened Fish Sandwich was a popular item. I almost ordered that too but all the salads looked unique and tasty. Prime Rib Dip Sandwich looked appealing too as I’m a big fan of French Dip sandwiches all in all.

It was a nice day out with the grown ups and no kids. Nick’s was the perfect spot with delicious food, good drinks, great service and the whole vibe/ambiance. I would highly recommend this spot for a nice meal. DO IT!!!
