This was the first restaurant I came to when I moved to Columbia. They treated me nicely and gave me suggestions on what I would like. Receiving my order-its always fresh and hot! I enjoy getting their Tilapia and grilled(or fried) shrimp. Love their wings..oh and definitely fell in love with their fried Basa–it taste just like catfish. This place is definitely my comfort.

My niece and family were looking for somewhere to eat while in South Carolina. Her husband graduates from the army on Thursday. I looked up places to eat and found Nick’s. Jordan tended to them and she was so nice and helpful. The food was . The service was amazing. They could not wait to give me their feedback on their experience. Bought a Philly, shrimp plate, and kids meal. Food made fresh, was delicious, and the cost was absolutely no worse for 4 people than fast food is now days. I’ll take hot food and great taste. Recently moved here and just discovered this place, and it’s now my favorite spot for seafood. The shrimp was perfect and melted in my mouth. I will be eating this meal real slow. I’ll be back again and again. The cashier was really nice as well.

We were traveling and were not that hungry so we split a Basa plate that came with shrimp, fries and Cole slaw.
The fish was freshly cooked and hot, the shrimp and hush puppies were also very good.
This would be a weekly spot for me if I lived here.

Absolutely amazing food! I ordered the fish-on-a-bun and my wife ordered the crab legs with shrimp and corn. We’re from the Savannah, GA area and this place beats most of the seafood restaurants there. Later that same day, I ordered the two gyros and my wife ordered the fish-on-a-bun. The food was amazing both times. Also, the prices are very reasonable. This place is literally one of the best places we have eaten!

I came to this nicks on January 14th around 1 pm I walked in excited to order my food and was greeted by the most unpleasant woman, who was short and heavier set, named Jennifer. I am used to being greeted with a nice smile by Jennifer Burgess, who always smiles, and has been with the company for as long as I’ve been eating there. This Jennifer was unfriendly, and she smelled of alcohol. When my food was ready, she slammed it down and whispered what sounded like a racial slur. I’m not sure if this is the environment you want, good for you, but I will not be spending my money here any longer unless I can deal only with Jordan or Ms. Burgess.

The food was fantastic, but the atmosphere wasn’t so much. Great and fun workers, but a little loosed lipped when it comes to comintary on people who visit the location; sure, this person was a homeless man who visited, not really a customer, but to let it slip and cursed in front of customers, especially with a toddler in ear shot, not to professional. I really don’t care too much about the cursing if it were just adults(when it involves kids, it is where I start to have a mind, too). I’d also say to make sure to check your orders before leaving as they may forget an item, as they almost forgot our extra order of fries. Luckily, we didn’t leave the restaurant and chose to eat there, so we noticed. It took maybe at most 20 minutes and us asking multiple times for the side of fries, but they made up on that by upgrading the fries to family size without us even asking, so yay more fries.

It’s very hard to find a place that fry the fish and shrimp correctly. Thank You from bottom of my heart. Lightly battered, good seasoning, and oil was at right temperature. Great combo for producing excellent food.
