I don’t know what this was. It was just batter and no flavor. The dude at the front had an attitude like he was some tough guy. I was just trying the food from out of town from Florida. See what the local seafood taste like. And The rating was a 4/5. So i figured why not. Everything else was pretty much closed. The pictures look amazing right. But when I tell you it has zero seasoning. I mean zero seasoning. I had to drench it with hot sauce and tartar sauce. Just being honest.

Stopped by Nick’s on Saturday night, 10/04 around 11:30pm, just looking for a quick bite before heading home. I ordered the whiting seafood platter, and this is what I got: one old, rubbery, dried-up piece of fish, five dried-out shrimp, and a pile of stale fries. All for $14.99—money completely wasted on food that wasn’t even edible.
I tried calling the restaurant, but of course, no one answered. Needless to say, I won’t be back. The quality at Nick’s has hit an all-time low, and this experience made it clear they don’t respect my money or my business. Save yourself the time and disappointment—go somewhere else.

Not sure if we came at a bad time or what, but the food was pretty terrible. We ordered the philly, a gyro, and some mozzarella sticks with drinks. The drinks both seemed to be needing a refill on syrup, so they were undrinkable. The mozz sticks and fries and gyro were all less than warm so we had to take them home and air fry them. The gyro needed more sauce and veggies, but had good flavor. The philly, the reason we went here, was the weirdest part – nowhere on the menu does it say what comes on it, so we expected a traditional philly: steak, peppers, onions, cheese, and mushrooms. But it also came with lettuce, tomatoes, and maybe mayonnaise (couldn’t tell). Even with these unexpected toppings, it was absolutely and completely flavorless.
We were hoping for better, especially given the great reviews! Maybe it was a weird night. We’ll continue looking for a good philly restaurant, this wasn’t it.

I’m talking seriously hungry, y’all, so I hit up Nick’s gyro for lunch, and I went all in – wings, shrimp, scallops, you name it. But when I got my food, I was like, what’s going on here? It was like they’d taken all the flavor and replaced it with salt, and don’t even get me started on the cooking – it was like they’d forgotten it was on the stove. I mean, I don’t get the hype, if this is how they roll, I’m out.

Save yourself and go somewhere else. Idk what this mess was I got. First and last experience. It is very dirty inside, no ice. Their parking lot is a war zone. And the gyro I recieved tasted like legit jerky. Im convienced it sat out overnight. And the employees seemed confused as to why I was there.

I ordered on UberEats and asked for my okra to be made with a bit of crunch but a soft inside. Most places burn or undercook it when I ask for that, but not here. They made the perfect okra, small crunch on the outside with a gooey inside. Absolutely, hands down, best okra I’ve had in years. I haven’t even looked at the rest of my order, it doesn’t matter to me, just this lovely, perfect okra.

We found Nicks a few years ago after a concert. 3am and we ordered wings, gizzards, sub, and fries. Food was right on time and tasty. Offering a versatile menu the food remains really good each time we’ve been back. Another must visit for us when we travel to Charleston!

The guy at the Drive Thru was rude to my son because he asked for additional tartar sauce he basically called my son a liar and searched through our bag for the extra sauces that he didn’t put in the bag initially as asked. Once the bag left the window he wasn’t supposed to go back in it with his dirty hands this is a DHEC violation and I will contact them since the store doesn’t have an active phone number online.

Boy, I was a little worried about ordering crab legs through a pick up window at 11pm at night, but this is the best thing by far that I’ve had in Charleston yet. Ordered a pound of crab legs for 19.99 seemed like WAY more in this pound than I get back home in Ohio. Super impressed the right amount t of butter and old Bay. Also got lemon pepper wings they were okay I prefer a breaded wing though. Chicken Philly also okay needed a little more seasoning, Cajun fries also very very good. Small shop, big taste.

I’m only giving two stars because the customer service was okay. The cashier guy was super friendly and energetic and making jokes although it was 1am in the morning. We are from out of town and drove all over trying to find food that was open late we stopped here and seen the good reviews and thought we had a hit. Now, idk if they rushed our food or what but the food was definitely a miss. Most of us all had wings and the wings had potential but they literally only poured the sauce and seasonings on the top and did not toss any of the wings which made them dry and nasty! It was only buffalo sauce and lemon pepper on the wings that were sitting on top in the container and no seasoning on the chicken at all. Even the fried shrimp was bland!
