Awesome breakfast, quality food for a great price. The owner Nick is extremely nice, we walked in today and he asked if the dining room was warm enough for us. Every restaurant I’ve ever been to has never asked that. They have a great breakfast special, you get 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, ham, hashbrowns and toast for $8 during the week or $9 on the weekend. It’s a great deal either way. The staff is very attentive and friendly, we didn’t have to ask for anything, our waitress did a great job. Booths are very comfortable, no one rushes you out. We’ve been there 4 or 5 times now, and we will definitely keep going.

First time trying this place. I will not be back. I had egg shells in the ham and cheese omelette I ordered. Multiple pieces. It was tossed in the garbage. To add it had little cheese.
I was disappointed they didn’t use paper liner before placing HOT food in plastic containers. Not safe. Most of the containers were melted and crushed. I didn’t ended up eating the food on the bottom of the containers.
Hash-browns tasted great. My son ate up the sausage. Pancakes were dry.
The sausage gravy is plain and missing seasoning. The bread wasn’t as I excepted. Great flavor but doesn’t go well with the sausage gravy.
Bad experience and not planning on coming back. Completely grossed out about the egg shells!

This was my first time to try this diner. I was impressed with the wide variety of menu items and since I’m a fan of seafood, I went for the grilled cod with lemon pepper seasoning. It was nicely presented; however, it was overcooked so it turned out too dry. The homemade mashed potatoes, however, was really good and so was their Greek seasoning for the salad and the deep fried oreos which were served with vanilla ice cream. Our server, Tereze (not sure of the Albanian spelling), greeted us with a smile and was very friendly and efficient. I will definitely come back to try out their other dishes.

Stopped here on a whim one morning while having our poodles groomed and I must say their food is so good and you get a very good portion! The reeses pancakes taste just like Reeses peanut butter! The berry crepes had blk berries, blueberries, whipped cream, strawberry drizzle and everything!. They were so good! Better than any breakfast/pancake house wed ever been to! The kids loved it and so did we – so we’ll be back more often!

One Star – Only Because the Server Was Amazing
Super disappointed. The only reason I’m even giving one star is because our server was fantastic and really tried her best.
Unfortunately, the food was a total letdown. The biscuits were burned, the gravy was thin and unappetizing it’s like sausage floating in milk, and the potato pancakes were so greasy they clearly hadn’t been drained properly. They went straight from the fryer into the carryout box—there was so much grease that the bottom of the box was bowed from the heat, and I honestly could’ve poured it into a pan and cooked something else with it.
This is especially unfortunate because the last three times I’ve ordered here, I’ve left disappointed. Last time I ordered the lemon chicken, which was supposed to be breaded, but it came as a plain grilled chicken breast that was so tough and hard I could barely cut through it. I will not be back.

My grandson and I stopped for a meal. The menu was extensive, the service was superior. The small restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere. We both agreed that we would return quickly to this place. We truly enjoyed our food.

Updated review April 2025.
Well, came back here again with a guest who wanted to eat here. I’ve changed my mind and will keep coming back again.
Dinner ware has been updated. No chips in dishes which was an improvement. Some of the food is bland but add in your salt a pepper to taste and it’s fine.
Last review stated that they have large portions. They still do. Didn’t want a whole meal and ordered a side of corned beef hash. Had the choice fresh made or canned. Of course, ordered fresh made. Wow! For a side dish it was more than expected. Took a box home for a second meal.
Previous review 2024.
Crowded restaurant. Middle tables as squished in together. Recommend getting a booth.
Great service. Large portions. Food was good. Outdated furnishings with dishes that have seen better days.
First time here and don’t think I’ll visit again.

Cute little place, staff was great! Coffee and Food were horrible! Coffee was basically warm brown water, absolutely no flavor. Got a Western omelet had chunks of green pepper larger than a half dollar. Very unpleasing and again on flavor. Hubby had an omelette as well and the egg wasn’t cooked was all slimy. Very disappointed

Upon entering the wait staff already had a table and water ready for us as we were walking in, I really liked that welcome. The service was fast and the food was about what you would expect from a small diner. The reason I gave 4 stars was because the tables were a little dirty and there was a hair on my straw and some particles on my fork which I didn’t use. Also, my husband said his Caesar wrap wasn’t a true Caesar, they used bagged iceberg lettuce not romaine and no Parmesan so he was a little disappointed. Cute place with a nice atmosphere, we will definitely come back again.

Nicks country oven is the best restaurant I’ve been to in a long time. I stopped in for my lunch break and ordered the gyro omelette with freshly cut potatoes, white toast and coffee. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. The staff is absolutely friendly and always have the biggest smiles on their faces. I felt so welcomed. I’m happy I found this restaurant and will be making this my regular spot for the days I forget my lunch for work. (Hopefully I forget my lunch more often). Also, I ordered and 5 min later my food arrived at my table. I love the efficiency. I recommend anyone to try Nicks!
