I ordered the southern omelette with fries. Everything tastes great and actually tasted fresh! This is one of the only joints I’ve been to where it tasted like the toast was fresh out of the toaster. The omelette and fries paired well and both were very good.
My wife ordered the bacon and eggs breakfast with fries instead of hash browns. She said everything tastes fresh and was very good.
My son ordered the kids pancake and sausage. It was pretty cool that they put whipped cream in the shape of eyes and a mouth. Most places I’ve been don’t do something like that. He devoured the order, which is his normal routine because he loves both pancakes and sausage.
All in all, I recommend this joint! If your thinking about giving it a try or are in the area, don’t hesitate to head over. I’ll definitely be coming back!

terrible they charge 15 dollar delivery even tho we spend over 100 dollars to order from the plant at least twice a week then they charge a debit card processing fee the driver then has the nerve to ask for a tip…they literally forget tons of our stuff they forget our coffees and then they will not refund for what they didnt bring they say oh we will give it to you next time.they literally steal tons of money from the workers every week we wont ever order again

I find this to be an affordable diner. Hours are a little short. I like their lunches and soups. The burger was dry. Service is workable. Friendliness would not describe it. They have two entrances but normally only one is open.

I only ordered the BLT, it was absolutely delicious—juicy, flavorful, and priced just right. I’ve lived in Wayne for 20 years and had no idea Nicky’s Conner Island was right here this whole time! What a hidden gem. The food was fulfilling and satisfying. I’ll definitely be back to try more!

Had their breakfast special. It was very filling and quite delicious. Coffee was the best. And the service was wonderful. We are going to be making the trip from Ypsilanti again to visit and have breakfast.
