I can’t recommend Nick’s Bar and Grill enough. The owner, Chip, is truly remarkable—what he does for others, especially in his community, deserves recognition. He runs his business as an extension of his kindness, treating his employees like family and creating an environment where everyone feels valued. Every time I’ve visited, the staff is professional, welcoming, and genuinely happy—a level of consistency that’s hard to achieve. On top of that, the food is always on point and absolutely amazing—every dish shows the care and quality that Nick’s is known for. From a business perspective, Chip has mastered the art of making a positive impact on people. Nick’s Bar and Grill easily deserves 10 out of 5 stars!

As someone who came from a small town diner, this place is absolutely wonderful! Amazing service, delicious food, and fantastic atmosphere! I’m not from around this area but next time I come through I’ll definitely be stopping here again! (The buffalo shrimp and crab sandwich are something awesome to try!)

Came here for lunch as there breakfast closed. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and served fast. Flounder sandwich is huge for lunch and fish was fresh and light breaded which I love. This is a small ,clean and nice restaurant, would highly recommend and would be back if I have a chance to visit VB again.

It’s a very local spot. Staff was friendly. The fried oysters and seafood were delicious. The mashed potatoes and green beans were under seasoned. Nothing on draft, just a handful of domestics ,some wine, and whatever they can make at the bar. Just your chill local bar and grill.

Awesome food, chill atmosphere and friendly service. What can I say, the scallops were delicious the fries are some of the best around and just the relaxing vibe the place gives is nice. Cool paintings on the ceiling and plenty of seating both indoor and outside. Right across the way is Aloha Snacks, also a excellent stop for some fresh poke bowls etc very highly recommended are both this place and across the street, can’t go wrong either way!

We were looking for a restaurant which is open as early as 7AM and google maps recommended it first. Fortunately the location is just 9 minutes walk from the place we checked-in. We came very hungry from all the walks and jogging in the beachwalk and around the area. The breakfast choices are satisfactory, your typical american breakfast. Surprisingly, we’re too much full after we ate. The unlimited coffee refills is a plus. We dine-in outside, perfect for a slow and kinda quiet morning with a cool morning ocean breeze. The staff who assisted us is kind and approachable. We will come back for the ambiance, customer service and best selling meals from dinner/lunch menu.

Sat at the bar, since there were no tables open, our server was great, despite how busy she was. The food was very good, came out fast and the prices were excellent. Very good, bloody mary. We will definitely go back.

Old school, delicious seafood at a good old school price. Seriously, the food is great and affordable. Laskin fried seafood platter with stewed tomatoes and baked potato – mmmmmnn. My wife loves the fried scallops, big n juicy! Can’t go wrong at this legendary place! Pic is after I ate most of my meal.
