The drinks are absurd, you get a small oddly shaped glass with all ice and liquor and just a splash of mixer, which some people may enjoy but the amount of actual liquid in the cup is maybe enough to fill two or three small shot glasses and it’s about $7 or so. Not worth the time but the taco truck outside is the best in town and I’ll occasionally stop in and grab a drink just because I wanted tacos, Everytime though I feel like I’m getting ripped off when I order a rum and coke

Amanda is the worlds nicest person and bartender; Nick’s Bar is a legendary Dive Bar, in the Great American Bar Scene, I lost my money to some dirty OL bookie way up in Philly he was a bad man but you can’t bet your life on the table when you got yourself a bad hand, this is a place where bets are tough and the bartenders rough, it’s a Great American Bar Scene, Amanda shines bright like a diamond

Definitely a nice little place, don’t know how I really feel about it being that there were some questionable individuals there. However the bartender was very nice and definitely keeps watch over her bar and definitely cpuld tell she kept an eye out for the women which is a really good bartender if you ask me.But To be fair about seeing the questionable dudes I was there briefly to pick up my “lady”:) after she had some drinks with some friends. So I highly doubt that’s the Norm. Bar is clean and doesn’t smell like a or look like a hole in the wall next time I will spent a little more time there .

Great little neighborhood bar! Been going there since Nick(R. I. P.) opened 40 some yr.s ago. I walked in with my dad somewhere around the first day he opened and knew I’d be coming back. Stopped by many times since then, still do on occasion.
Dave Monda is still doing a great job with the place. Met many great people in there over the years and had some awesome times too!
If you’re in the neighborhood, stop on in! I’m sure you’ll be welcome. Beers cold, plenty of the hard stuff, and always good conversation.

I tend bar a few nights a week at this local neighborhood bar. This bar has history! We have some of the most uplifting, generous, friendly regulars I’ve ever met in my bar experience. Customers of all ages. New comers always tell me they feel comfortable! Great drink prices and Bud Draft specials! WiFi available and Touch Tunes jute box system. A variety of music is chosen and requests are most often taken! Plenty of parking in the front, back and sides! Pool table and TV’s for entertainment. Come visit us somewhere on Bee Ridge!

I’ll give 1 star because the patrons were fun! The bartender was rude and mean. I’ve been bartending and in the industry for 30 years and I stopped in after my shift to just relax. I’ve never in my life been treated so poorly by a bartender. She needs a new career! Don’t go on Wednesday night, every other night of the week the girls are great!
