Now this place may serve Dr. Wham instead of Dr. Pepper but DAMN do they know how to cook. That steak and cheese had me feeling luxurious and interesting. That steak and cheese had me genuinely engrossed. Exactly my kind of place. Don’t look at the menu online, not at all representative of what’s there. Tamales are excellent if they have them, so is the fried chicken. Otherwise just see what they have going on, you’ll find something. Only complaint is I wish they’d restock the vino Verde.

Love this store! It’s super clean, the staff is always friendly and smiling, and the prices are great. They carry my favorite watermelon Red Bull and a delicious fruit salad. Plus, they have a nice variety of international products. Highly recommend!

So glad we stopped here on our drive home from Shenandoah. We each got an entree (chicken, pork chop) and 2 sides for $11.99 each. So good! Delicious hot food at the deli and there’s picnic tables outside to eat.

Nick’s is a great example of what family run local businesses look like. The service is always excellent and the hot food is fresh and tasty. It is what general stores use to be when I growing up. It is a bit rustic and dated, which adds to its charm and ambience.

Warning!!! Do not come for the fried chicken if you have a heart condition. It’s cooked to perfection and you’ll never stop coming back. I finished two pieces including great tasting potato wedges before pulling out of the parking spot.
