We came here after a show at 10pm, absolutely ravenous and looking for something substantial. The bartender seemed annoyed when we walked in that we wanted to order food, even though the kitchen was still open. We were not offered a table and sat at the bar. It took a long time for them to come out with the food, and it was not very good. My friends/boyfriend ordered burgers and they were mushy and wet and honestly just barely edible according to them. One of my friends only ate 2 bites of her burger and couldn’t finish it. Then 30 minutes later my boyfriend got a very severe case of food poisoning that couldn’t have come from any other food we ate that day, since we hadn’t eaten in 7 hours. He was extremely sick for over 24 hours and it made the end of our trip a real bummer. 🙁 It was likely a staph-type food poisoning because it happened literally 30 mins after we ate. Beware!!

Was here to watch the Champions League final. Wow! What a crew rubbing this place! Pub is filled to its edges, and the two ladies in the bar just power through in a tempo I’ve never seen at a bar before. In this chaos they manage to stay super friendly and nice to everyone.

We stumbled upon Nickie’s from an Google search. It was nice to leave the bustle of the tourist bars. We felt welcomed even though “tourist” was written across our foreheads! Thanks for the locals welcome! Had some good beers and a yummy quesadilla!
