Best authentic greek street food. Customers come to Nick the Greek to get the whole greek experience. From authentic food to our family recipes to the greek ambiance. We have changed the atmosphere and the understanding of what greek food is. We have a simple menu with traditional items, like the souvlaki items and gyros. We also put a modern twist on it with our Nick’s fries. A family favorite is the beef/lamb pita, a fluffy warm pita bread, including our grandma’s recipe for our tzatziki sauce, Roma tomatoes, and fresh onions, lovely thinly carved gyro meat all wrapped up from our kitchen, right to your table. In 2014 we sold over 50,000 pitas, and in 2018 we sold over 700,000 pitas to families around the bay area.

Today I got my food delivered via UberEats and I paid $5 each for extra meat on two bowls. My extra meat was missing and they even gave me less meat than when I ordered it normally! It was a thin layer and more than double the rice. I have ordered this exact bowl more than 20 times so right away I was disappointed by the portion and missing items. I was not satisfied with my order at all. I hope the staff can learn from this mistake. I did speak to a nice lady on the phone who kindly listened to my complaints. I’m not expecting anything for free, I just want them to do better. Thanks.

I loved this place! The beef and lamb gyro was fresh tasting and delicious. They have bowls and salad options for those who do not want pita bread. The froyo (honey and baklava) was tangy and sweet, almost like sweet lemon ice and honey.
The inside was clean, modern, and decently lit without blinding anyone. There are digital display menus, a tap to pay and chip reader for pay.
The service is a little understaffed, so they have to split their attention between taking and filling orders. But it was worth any small wait.

I had the Gyro and fries… it was really fantastic. The menu was easy to understand and the staff was very friendly and informative when asked questions about the food. I had the Greek yogurt for dessert… it was quite good as well… I will be back with friends and family. Also of note the Resturant was well lit and seemed very clean and well organized.

Not good. Ordered the pork souvlaki but was given the gyro however I didn’t realize until I got back to the hotel. The gyro meat did not taste good- maybe leftover or reheated? The salad was not fresh and so i I didn’t end up eating the food. I love Greek food but this was not good at all unfortunately. Didn’t taste anything like i expected.

Good food and friendly service. We did a call in order of 2 gyros and a gyro bowl. Food was great and service was top notch. Restaurant was clean and there was plenty of seating even though we were getting ours to go.

Excellent. We’ve been to three different Nick the Greek stores now and this one has the best food (others were in Napa and San Jose). Grand opening was only 5 days ago, and the kitchen was full of trainees. We are hoping that the best chefs stay in Santa Rosa. Okay, all three were excellent, but this was moreso. My gyro and salad were perfect. Sometimes a Greek salad is hard to pick up with a fork, but not here; it was solid and easy to eat. The gyro was packed with meat and veggies, and a few fries. Not sure if I prefer the sandwich with or without seasoned fries, but this was a pretty good introduction. Ever since moving up from San Diego a year ago, we’ve been searching for a Greek place that comes close to our favorite back there. Nick the Greek could well be our go-to Greek restaurant in the Bay Area.

I had lunch with a friend at the Grand Opening and we were blown away at the quality, taste and amount of food that was served. There were at least 40-50 people waiting in line and yet the food was still being prepared quickly and served efficiently. I had the lamb bowl which was full of fresh veges, French fries perfectly cooked with a salad and my friend had the Falafel pita. In the 35 years I’ve known her, never has she finished a meal but she ate every bite. She said this meal was as good as the best Greek restaurant she had eaten at in Australia and there are many excellent Greek restaurants so that was saying a lot! The owners were outside welcoming everybody that was waiting in line and checking with many diners to see how their meal was – this is going to be a successful restaurant with attentive owners like this!

I ordered the Greek Salad. Not at all like Greek salads I have had before. This was pretty bad. Mostly cut up cucumbers. I ate about 1/4 of it and threw the rest away. I won’t go back.

Every time I order from here on a food delivery service it’s wrong. I always order with no dairy because I’m lactose intolerant and when I get the food it has tzatziki sauce all over it. I want to eat here because the food is good, but I have to be able to actually eat the food.
