Would love for this Nick’s to be more proactive with their DoorDash ordering options. They remain closed until at least 11 AM on DoorDash so the earliest I can get lunch delivered from .2 miles away is 11:40 AM. I guess they forgot our order today because delivery went from 11:40 to almost Noon and our Dashers were changed out because they were waiting and waiting for our order. This is not respectful to the Dasher who is paid by job not time and the person ordering since our lunch is now late. The other option I have is to order early from the location that comes up on DoorDash that is further away. Then we incur fees, the food is not as hot, etc. Hopefully someone at Nick’s RWC sees this and fixes their Doordash.

Amazing service! She brought the food to us outside while we waited on the tables and was extremely nice and helpful. The nicks Greek fries were absolutely delicious as well. Very filling, tasty, and flavorful. We also got some pita gyros to go!

Visited today for a first time and… FOUND NEW FAVORITE RESTAURANT IN DOWNTOWN Redwood City! ❤️ The Whole place smelled just incredible, but what comes next was even better! French fries with beef and lamb + spicy yogurt and green onions as well as Beef pita we ordered were both amazing! Desserts were delicious too! We loved it so much and will be back often!

To say this Gyro was good is an understatement. I am from Colorado and when my son said he was taking us for a Gyro, we weren’t prepared for “The Gyro” . This is the best Gyro that we have ever had, it will ruin gyros for us in the future. We’re thinking of even going back on Monday before we head home. Amazing doesn’t even begin to explain this Gyro. The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating, and the outdoor seating was picturesque and Serene. Could not ask for anything more. Thank you “Nick the Greek” For Setting the bar so high, and showing us what a Gyro should really taste like..

We live in Santa Clara and we spend many weekends on the Bay Area. One of our favorite Street is Broadway. This summer we were thinking of going on vacation to Greece. Walking in search of a restaurant for lunch we discovered this place. The staff is very helpful and friendly, the menu very varied, I chose the Gyro Salad with chicken, fresh spinach and organic arugula served with pita bread, dressed with there signature honey balsamic vinaigrette with and my hubby choose Gyro Salad with beef/lamb. Three weekends later we came back and asked the same. Is part of our Redwood City routine. I highly recommend this place for a casual lunch.
Update: another beautiful weekend in Redwood City, is a little bit cold perfect for a Avgolemono soup made with orzo pasta, fresh eggs and chicken 16 oz. So nice & warm.

Me too discovered them on their opening day with a free gyros plate that convinced me to come back a second time and then a third time to celebrate my bfs bday with our friends.
Food is good, place is new and clean, and service is nice and attentive.
This is a place where you order at the counter and then seat and wait for your food (or go pick it up if you hear them call your order number).
We’ve tried the gyros plate, the souvlaki chicken skewer and the greek salad. Their tzatziki sauce is very good! Pay attention cuz the souvlaki chicken gyro comes with mustard instead, I asked them if I could get tzatziki instead and they said no problem.
For the bday celebration we were a big party, and even though they couldn’t reserve us a table on a Friday night, we were lucky to find enough space after just waiting a couple minutes and they didn’t mind us moving tables and chairs around to accommodate the whole party.

I had the chicken Gyro Pita it was good but they only put 2 pieces of french fries, come on! & Loukoumades, traditional greek beignets w/ nuts & honey syrup, basically fried donut balls! loved it! i would’ve have given this place 5 stars but i still can’t get over the two pieces of fries they put in my pita. Overall the taste of the food is good, i’ll come back some other day to the try the other dishes they sell here.
