First off the starter bred was amazing, nicely toasted, soft with a little crunch and somewhat cheesy, I loved it. We started off with the deviled eggs, scallop crudo, bbq jumbo shrimp and the 90 day dry aged ribeye. I also had their suggested red wine and my guest had champagne.
Overall it was an excellent dinner. The deviled eggs were delicious along with the jumbo bbq shrimp. The crudo was phenomenal but the broccolini was alright and usually I love broccolini. The dry aged ribeye was the best part of the dinner, had an amazing flavor and it was cooked/seasoned to perfection.
Huge thanks to our server Jonathan and the hostess with the mostess Myra for making our dinner an amazing dining experience! Amazing customer service, very attentive and super friendly.
I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items.
The staff was friendly, and knowledgeable about food sensitivities. Our waitperson definitely had a way with words as he described each of the specials, if you are a foodie like we are, it was a fabulous way to start the evening.
The restrooms were very clean.
If wine is your thing, I am certain they’ll have a bottle that will tempt your fancy, the walls are lined with many, many wine bottles.
We both ordered their steak burger. This resturant is known for their steak. Their burger was AMAZING!! Mine was cooked medium-well. The meat had a wonderful taste and with the added artisan cheese blended through the it, I was delighted with the taste. On the side, they provided heirloom steak tomatoes, crispy bacon, spicy pickles and butter lettuce on a Brioche bun.
My friend’s burger was seared rare. She loved her meal as well.
My fries were on the “well-done-crispy” side, and were absolutely delish. I thought the prices were a little high. However, the service was impeccable. The restaurant was quiet, and lovely, the food was beyond good.
The Hostess will validate your parking if needed.
One Filet mignon was asked to be cooked medium. It was a charred raw steak that was delivered. It was a thick piece but it had a grey band and was bloody red about 2 inches thick in the center. We sent it back and they refired it up. It came out perfect for him afterwards.
I ordered an A5 New York Strip which is a tiny 3oz cube. It was delivered to the table after the Filet mignon was refired and served again so I waited a while but was excited to my A5. My medium rare A5 looked fantastic until I took a slice, it was red and marbled white on the inside. Absolutely cold to the touch like it came straight out of the fridge. I complained a 2nd time to our server about the steaks not being cooked properly and they apologized and took my plate. Again they refired the steak and brought the slice and the now 2oz cube back pretty much well done. The 2oz was a little bit more moist, I’d say medium-well. The server asked if that was ok, and I replied that they overcooked my A5. The server just stared at me with a smile before I said, “it’s fine” being so annoyed. I wish I took pictures but I was too pissed and also didn’t want to ruin the mood for the team since it was a Christmas dinner…so I just ate it. $94 for a 3oz well done strip loin. Good Job Chef!
I typically do not write reviews but I feel like this is really unacceptable for a high end steak house. Someone just invited me to eat at Nick & Stef’s in March which is what prompted me to write this review now. I’m still so bitter and I refused to ever go back but I will probably give it another go in March. They were horrible with 2 of the 8 dishes the night I visited but they have a 4.5 review from 1100 people.
Everything very well prepared
The steak was prepared as requested. The service was quick and attentive. Enjoyed the weather and ambience on the patio. Not a cheap date, but food and service definitely has value.
Really enjoyed and will go again!
