I here is a small shop not tar trom my home, opened by an old chef and his wife. The food is very fresh and delicious. The most important thing is that it is not salty, really not salty. I’ve been there once before, and every Sunday when I passed by its door, I saw it was closed. There was a word on the door: cafe. Then we thought it was a cafe, but it was actually a restaurant. I passed by today and went in to try it. It was very good. The people who came to dine there were all nearby residents. They followed the boss and brought their parents to enjoy the delicious food.
Another important point is that tipping is not mandatory. Today, the two of us spent $27 and I happily put a tip of $2 in the tip bucket. I am living happily in an American TV series.

Looking for a quick lunch my buddy and I dropped by this spot on the way home from the gym.
I got the soup of the day and was recomended a gyro by Nick himself. My buddy got burger and fries. Everything was seasoned excellently and with attention to detail.
The soup hit the spot and the gyro filled me up and when we were just about finished with our meal Nick’s wife brought us some lemon cake she baked herself it was awesome.
If you’re in Montebello looking for some Greek food I highly suggest checking them out.

This is my first time at Nick’s Paradise Cafe trying out different restaurants I never been before. One of a friend of mine told me to try the food ar Nick’s Paradise Cafe. That’s what I did I just came in before they close I was very hungry I was looking at the menu and owner recommended the Gyro I order one. I order to go it was ready and the smell was good I decided to eat in the car I was very hungry. One bite great flavors in the Gyro especially in the meat full of flavor in meat it also have onion,green peppers and spices it also come with their yogurt sauce I can’t remember the name but it was good. It also comes three cookies they so good. I need ro come back again.

Met the owner the 1st time I came here and asked for some suggestions. He described the Ruben, Gyro and the Corn beef as a good choices. Let’s just say I will be back for the gyro and the corn beef.

Visited LA for week and a half. Ate at so many places. From High end fancy restaurants and popular must eats to little hole in wall lesser known ones.
By far out of all the restaurants I visited this had the best food and experience. The variety of food offered was mind blowing, especially then to learn that they all the dishes were cooked very well.
Nick was a great host and provided a homely experience.

They’re sandwiches and soups are exceptional fresh and tasty. They have a wide variety available on the menu. The Cafe’s feel is a throw back 80’s with a welcoming feeling like you have been a regular for years. It’s nothing fancy , but there’s something about it that makes me wanna keep coming back.
