Not much to write about here. Everything comes from a can or the freezer. No flavor or seasoning. The all day $9 special is an amazing price point but the food never covers the cost. The small cheeseburger sub looks like a 4 ounce patty cut in half, very weak. The crew were standing around watching Bookface or Chatsnap. Smelled clean had old advertising & outdated postings on the door with visible tape. Coolers & a microwave in the Guest area is just odd. Not a fan of pizza boxes on tables stacked to the ceiling or staples used in or around food…. Appreciate the 5 packs of ketchup though!!!

My family and I stopped by Nick and Joe’s Pizza during a trip to New York, and unfortunately, our experience was terrible. The woman at the front counter was either having a bad day or just completely lacked customer service skills. Her attitude and energy made it clear that she had no interest in being there, which set a really negative tone for our visit.
The pizza itself was just okay, nothing special, but the real issue was the overall experience. From the moment we walked in, we felt unwelcome, as if we were inconveniencing them just by placing an order. The looks we got and the unprofessional attitude made us extremely uncomfortable.
I highly recommend that the owner address this issue either through proper customer service training or by hiring someone who actually wants to be there. Whoever Nick and Joe are (or were), I guarantee they wouldn’t be happy about how their name is being represented! I wouldn’t be surprised if many customers have chosen not to return because of a similar experience. Definitely disappointing.

Food is always made to order and fresh. Prices reasonable. All day lunch menu too!. I live in Baltimore and come here when passing through. Everytime!! Always friendly folks.

Got a pizza for the first time ever tonight and it just wasn’t very good. Way too many onions and green peppers. Being from out of state I called and asked could they exchange or help me out with getting a different pizza. The manager said no you’ll probably just bring that back too and I didn’t know what to say. I was polite to them when I asked for a different pizza.

Seriously the ONLY pizza/sub place that understands how to make a simple cheese sub. I had one place deliver a roll with 2 slices of cheese and charge me $8 calling that a cheese sub. I’d hardly consider that a cheese sandwich. Then another place simply refused to make one. They told me to order something called a “veggie” sub that had NO actual cheese other than globs of goat cheese, which I’m not a fan of. Nick and Joe’s, however, gets it right. Perfect amount of different types of cheeses (American, Provolone, and Mozzarella). The tomato and lettuce on the sub is always fresh and in good portion to the cheese.
I’m also in love with the fries at Nick and Joe’s. Fries are another thing other pizza places have a hard time getting right. Soggy, hard, over cooked, or raw… every time I ordered fries from other places I would get very sad versions of fries. Not so at Nick and Joe’s. The fries here are cooked perfectly… golden brown, which gives them a slight crunch while still being soft on the inside. Perfect. They also have awesome curly fries which are made to perfection as well. I should mention that the portions are very, VERY generous, so as good as they are, it’s difficult to finish an order by myself… BUT I’m not complaining! I’m just suggesting to share with a loved one or friend.

Walked in and ordered a plain cheese pizza to go. Was given a dirty look when I didn’t leave a tip, not sure why I would tip when I’m ordering to go food. Pizza was really big and really good. Cooked perfectly and not greasy or over seasoned at all. They have a large menu ranging from hot and cold subs, pizzas, pastas, strombolis. Definitely will be back in the future to try more of the menu.
