I really enjoyed this place today. Small family restaurant in the plaza next to Dave’s on Warwick Ave. The food was good and it came out hot. The service was great. The waitress checked on me several times and made sure I was good. My only complaint and it’s not even a complaint really was the portion size seemed really small, it seemed the plate was barely bigger than a cup saucer, but then again I don’t know how much real estate 2 eggs and home fries and toast needs to take up. I probably could have expected more home fries or something. But overall everything was awesome and delicious. So I’m very happy I visited Nick & Joan’s place. I still give it a 5 Star review.

Breakfast is okay. I got the Nick #1 – 2 eggs, homefries and toast ($5.25). The egg’s were alright and the homefries weren’t great. They didn’t have too much flavor like paprika, pepper, etc and some pieces were barely sauteed/too mushy, some had the right amount of crunch.

Met the lovely owners a few weeks back and was excited to get a chance to try their restaurant. This little place has such classic diner charm and serves great classic breakfast food. The prices were so reasonable, food delicious, and service was fast. The walls are covered with pictures that add to the heart-warming, family-owned charm. If you’re in the area, check it out!

I lived in RI for about 40 yrs. I now live in Tampa and every time I visit I get breakfast here.. I have been to Nick’s about 100 times. Every single breakfast I ordered was exactly how I wanted it. Great food, great service. Come see Nick’s & Joan’s they will greet you with extra large smiles.

Friday morning and this place was hopping! It’s a small place and a traditional American diner. I had 2 eggs over easy, dried rye toast, and hash browns. The ham you see in the photo was my friend’s. All were tasty. The waitress was upbeat and friendly. We will return.

A real local diner with great food and staff. Place was packed but the service moved quickly and the two workers were still somehow able to chat you up. You could tell there was great chemistry between them and with the locals.

Great old school diner, with a lot of pride demonstrated in the place. Food was solid, service was great! The only detraction was the guy at the counter who was loudly arguing a certain propaganda news channel’s untrue talking points–of course not the place’s fault.

Located in a strip mall it is easy to drive right by it. But the sign is big and well Google will always get u there. This is an old school place 30 plus years it’s been open. Small dining room and a counter that sits 10. All ham is carved right off the bone and you get plenty of it. The pancakes aren’t huge which is a bit sad. I think diner I think huge pancakes. The egg portions are big though. The owner is still cooking on the flat top. Service was great and fast. Place was clean with the old diner charm. I’d stop again if I’m in the area.
