Small cafe in a shopping plaza. Clean bathroom. Food is great. Kinda pricey but I guess compared to the other restaurants it’s cheaper. $26 for an omelette, oatmeal, and 2 coffees. Not bad. Plates and portions seem kinda small. But I got full.

Seemed really comfortable inside and quaint! Took longer than told for the meal to come out but that’s ok. A place for regulars It seems. The customers are mostly older folks who probably can’t have a lot of salt because the food was not seasoned at all. Potatoes in big chunks skin on and not a Bit of crisp to them. Over medium eggs were very runny. We were excited to try a new place but this one might be geared to the elderly more. Nice staff! Cute place! Blander style breakfast but Good price and great Rhode Island atmosphere!

A wonderful small-scale diner & a true Rhode Island gem! We loved looking at the photos plastered on the walls throughout the restaurant chronicling the family that has operated this space over the years! Great food, great service & they had a seat to spare on a busy Saturday morning. We will be returning!

I really enjoyed this place today. Small family restaurant in the plaza next to Dave’s on Warwick Ave. The food was good and it came out hot. The service was great. The waitress checked on me several times and made sure I was good. My only complaint and it’s not even a complaint really was the portion size seemed really small, it seemed the plate was barely bigger than a cup saucer, but then again I don’t know how much real estate 2 eggs and home fries and toast needs to take up. I probably could have expected more home fries or something. But overall everything was awesome and delicious. So I’m very happy I visited Nick & Joan’s place. I still give it a 5 Star review.

I think the chef has years of experience. Breakfast was exactly as I hoped, even better. And the staff were incredibly kind. Thank you for your hospitality.

Met the lovely owners a few weeks back and was excited to get a chance to try their restaurant. This little place has such classic diner charm and serves great classic breakfast food. The prices were so reasonable, food delicious, and service was fast. The walls are covered with pictures that add to the heart-warming, family-owned charm. If you’re in the area, check it out!
Although not cash only, cash is suggested.

The food is good quality, filling, and a decent price in this economy (a two egg white on an English muffin was $6.50). The atmosphere is old school Americana and the staff was really friendly.

Breakfast is okay. I got the Nick #1 – 2 eggs, homefries and toast ($5.25). The egg’s were alright and the homefries weren’t great. They didn’t have too much flavor like paprika, pepper, etc and some pieces were barely sauteed/too mushy, some had the right amount of crunch.
I also got 2 peanut butter chip pancakes ($2.50 each). I was disappointed how small they were, but they were light and the bites with the peanut butter chips were very satisfying.
Old school diner vibes, but maybe too old school. Nice spot for my 64 year old dad.
Food is a 3, but the service is a 5+. The main waitress was incredibly friendly and Nick was cooking my breakfast while asking me how I wanted things along the way.

A real local diner with great food and staff. Place was packed but the service moved quickly and the two workers were still somehow able to chat you up. You could tell there was great chemistry between them and with the locals.
Omelet and breakfast sandwich were delicious!

Located in a strip mall it is easy to drive right by it. But the sign is big and well Google will always get u there. This is an old school place 30 plus years it’s been open. Small dining room and a counter that sits 10. All ham is carved right off the bone and you get plenty of it. The pancakes aren’t huge which is a bit sad. I think diner I think huge pancakes. The egg portions are big though. The owner is still cooking on the flat top. Service was great and fast. Place was clean with the old diner charm. I’d stop again if I’m in the area.
