The jambalaya is a 10 out of 10. Full of flavor. The bbq shrimp and grits is also good. I recommend the bbq sauce on the side so you can add it to your liking. Very good food, deserves multiple visits

Had a great time. Went to this location as a meetup for new friends. The waitress was very attentive. I think we were there at least two hours. Was able to watch the football game as well. Has really good food. The buffalo wings were good. I will be back with family and friends. Will try the burger next.

I have been to this Nick and Jake’s several times, and have only ever had great experiences! I wanted to especially give a shoutout to the waiter that we had today. Tristan is so friendly, and is an amazing waiter. He checked in on us frequently, kept our drinks full, and took great care of us! He is also helpful in deciding what to order.

Gave Nick and Jake’s a try for restaurant week. Was not disappointed. Our food was so delicious. I was so excited to try it that I even forgot to take pictures but it was presented nicely, as well. Service was friendly and fast. We had a reservation and they had a table waiting, even with a full restaurant and wait time. My wife was offered a dr pepper to go in a nice Nick and Jake’s reusable cup. It was a real nice date night. We will be back!

For starters, I haven’t been to this place since pre-covid, pretty much back when it first opened. A customer at my work gave me a gift card to here, so I decided to give it another shot. Since my family and I wasn’t very impressed with it years ago.
The appetizer that I ordered was my main issue about my visit. When it finally came out, it was completely doused in the chili aioli sauce. I figured it would just be a light drizzle over the top, but no. After eating maybe half of it, it was no longer appetizing. I couldn’t even finish the rest, because after a while the breading was sliding off because there was so much sauce. It just turned to a mushy shrimp mess.
The salmon on the other hand was a good sized portion for the price, cooked well with a slight crisp and had good flavor. The bourbon glaze on it was nice.

3 for 3 excellent meals: pot pie, salmon salad and Grandma’s chicken! Madeline, our server, was delightful as well. Restaurant is modern, clean and has a nice patio w/ fireplace. Will be back.

Our first time eating here. The food was great, decently priced and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. A large group from our Mustang Club met here and they were able to accommodate us with no problems. The service was fast without rushing us and the orders were accurate. I had the crab bisque, buttered rice and a baked potato. All were cooked well. He had the meatloaf which was also excellent. We will definitely put this place on the list of great places to eat and will be back.

Edit: We’ve had many great experiences at this restaurant in the past, but tonight wasn’t quite up to par. While the service was excellent as always—friendly, attentive, and quick—the food left much to be desired.
I ordered the baby back ribs, which have always been a favorite. However, tonight they were dry, tough, and chewy, likely cooked at too high a temperature. The ribs were difficult to cut and far from the usual tender, flavorful dish I’ve come to expect.
My wife, trying the chicken pot pie for the first time, had a mixed reaction. The crust was flaky, and the mashed potatoes on top were well-done. However, the filling was overly creamy and lacked a balance of textures. There weren’t enough vegetables to offset the richness, making the dish feel a bit one-dimensional.
In summary, while the service was excellent, the food didn’t meet the high standards we’ve come to expect. We’ll likely give it another try, given our history with the restaurant, but tonight’s meal was a bit of a letdown thus a one star reduction.

The reuben sandwich is excellent as is the country fried chicken when it’s available. Service is always friendly and efficient. I like having the choice of a quiet meal on the restaurant side, or a louder more energetic time on the bar side.

Delicious! We had happy hour cocktails – cider sangria and mango martini – both good. We shared a small Nick’s salad and it was wonderful! My husband ordered the daily special of crab crusted salmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Huge portion! I ordered the filet mignon with baked potato. Best steak I’ve had for a very long time and the potato was cooked to perfection. Topped everything off with pumpkin cheesecake that was the BEST EVER! Really great meal!

Great place to watch the game! Not a huge space but nice atmosphere and *plenty* of TVs if you’re looking for that. We both liked the food. I really enjoyed the jalapeño cheddar grits. This place seems to put more effort into theirs than many places do. The chicken quesadilla is good as well. Nothing special about the chicken itself but the red onion marmalade has a nice flavor and I think the flavor of the salsa was my favorite part. Good drink specials/selection and friendly service, this may be our new go-to sports bar.
