Nicholas Restaurant is absolutely fabulous. They are PACKED and from what some locals told me that is ALWAYS. I will start with the decor. Beautiful. And while the tables are close together it is suited here. Just make note that if you want a romantic setting this may not be where you’d want to pop the question. It is a little loud unless you’re seated on the walls.

I don’t know where to begin. Words are failing me with my mouth full of flavor. I haven’t been this in love with food and this completely in a long while. To say this place is good is just not enough. Every sauce was unique and stand-alone off the hook flavor. You know how some places will make a kabob with different meats, but they all basically taste the same..well that is not this place!! Everything I tried was like, “oh this now my favorite,” until I would take another bite of something else, that is. Every bite just made me HAPPY. I told our most awesome, server ever that I wanted to totally hug the cooks for making me so Happy. Lol She said they were all great at what they do. She’s % right. I told her I wanted to live under the tables there and clean for them , just for food. Jokes but this food is seriously that good. Whatever you try I believe you’ll like it and ask for Bri. She was so knowledgeable about the menu and super helpful about what to try and sauces to pair it with. We were new to this restaurant and neighborhood and she was beyond, sweet, beautiful and helpful. If there was a 6 ⭐️ option I would click it for this place.

I had a great time at Nicholas Restaurant, we tried arnabeet, baba ghanuosh, falafel with tahini and a chicken kabob plate. The arnabeet was amazing, and the jasmine rice was so flavorful. My husband enjoyed the chicken kabob plate. The mint lime lemonade was cool and refreshing. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere.

Decent restaurant in the Gresham downtown. Their veggie Kabob plate is a MUST have. Being an indian brought up on spices, I was still blown away with the taste of the sauce. Just outstanding. Even the falafels were above average.

EThey serve this huge pita bread to start off things, meat was cooked to perfection and juicy, pretty good baba ganoush anf hummus. Baklava i felt was slightly off. Overall, great!!

Food is grade A. The kabobs are excellent, especially the sauce. Also recommend the fries. Quantities are excellent, although it could be priced better but no complaints.
