Narrow bar with unique artwork featuring dozens of wines by the glass & many bottles, plus snacks.

Leah and crew are awesome! They catered a party at our house and blew our guests mind. The food and preparation was immaculate, and everyone was stunned at how beautiful the platters were. They were communicative and more than delivered on every promise. I highly recommend them!

Very intimate spot which offers a good variety of international wines. Staff are really friendly and helpful when trying to figure out what wine is good. They have a delicious selection of cured meats and the truffle butter with bread is delicious! If you’re not feeling up for wine, you can grab a wine cocktail! They’re moving so keep an eye out for their new shire!

This place is amazing! So warm and cozy! The owners are very knowledgeable and helpful with their bottle suggestions. My spouse and I have been twice and they have been spot on with their recommendations. Definitely a new favorite spot.

In all fairness, the owner is a relative of mine. Still this was our first visit to her wine bar and our first impression was of a very comfortable relaxed atmosphere with quality food and service. Given that she’s owned the business going on thirteen years, I would say that Niche definitely deserves a visit if you have never been. It would be a great place to take out of town guests.
Because of our unique circumstances, there are many details I find it difficult to speak towards. Therefore I would recommend you reviewing their website and/or calling with your specific questions or concerns.

Came by with a friend, it was my first visit. The wine was excellent and the food was also a reason to return. Very unique decor and varied seating arrangements. I’d love to be a regular customer but despite the friendly service, we had an odd experience. Got there close to 4, and my friend who had arrived first was already seated. I joined her. Halfway through our wine and food
, we were asked to give up our seating to accommodate a party of 3. We agreed and were moved to a two top nearby. Then we were informed that the table was reserved for another party at 6. Not wanting to be difficult, we said that would be fine. We did order the gelato and wrapped up our time there. I may return to give it another shot, I sure hope that the musical chairs situation isn’t repeated. Such an odd way to treat customers.

Don’t pass up this gem in downtown Vancouver! Great wine knowledge, wine selection and food pairings in an eclectic atmosphere. We have been regulars for years. That won’t be changing any time soon!

No TVs, no blaring music. Just a great space to explore and enjoy great wine in a friendly, low key setting. Seriously excellent wines. Small but very good food menu too. Food is second to the wine, though. This isn’t a dinner place, but they have a good sandwich. Come to enjoy wine, maybe even learn something new about it. A great place; Vancouver is lucky to have this place.

I have been enjoying this gem of an establishment for about six years. I enjoy the unique art-centric environment and the carefully thought out and expertly executed wine and food menus. If you’re someone who appreciates high end cheese and wine, are looking to experience excellent pairings, or just learning more about this Niche corner of the food world.. this is your spot. This is also my go to place to grab a good bottle of wine for gifts and parties.

Enjoyed a fabulous private party at the Angst Gallery, adjacent to Niche Wine Bar. The owner of both, Leah, is very organized, thoughtful, and helpful. She has an amazing chef who prepared excellent food for our party. Everything was perfect, great food, wine, and everyone had a fun and relaxing evening.
