The food had a unique twist that made it enjoyable. For example, the sweet potato fries were topped with powdered sugar. The catfish etouffee was five stars! I tried the Brussels sprouts, but the glaze was too strong, leaving them soggy and overly sweet. While this place wasn’t quite my vibe, I recommend giving it a shot if you’re in town.

I had heard rave reviews about Nice Guys Nola, especially if you want a lit brunch. I must say I am 50/50 on this. When you walk up, you can hear the music from down the street, so it was very hard to have a conversation with the people in your party, but the music was a good vibe. The place has a patio styled outdoor seating, so definitely bring your fans if you’re planning to visit during the summer months. Our waitress was nice, however, at times it was very hard to find her due to her being needed to service larger parties with bottle service and dancing to the music. Our drinks were amazing, they were the perfect balance between being strong and sweet. The chicken and waffles were amazing, the chicken was fried to perfection and paired well with the pecan praline sauce. However, the steak was a bit chewy and the grits were runny. Also, you will be charged an entertainment fee for the DJ and the host. The host tried his best to get the crowd hyped, but I guess with the heat not many were up dancing on the day we visited. I definitely would like to come back to Nice Guys Nola to give to see if I can have a different experience.

Disappointed overall. I really wanted to like this place, but the food came out cold and honestly tasted pretty nasty. For the price and the hype, I expected way better quality. Service and atmosphere were decent, but food is the main thing—and it just didn’t hit at all. I wouldn’t return based on this experience.

I came with a large party 9/13/25.We initially had reservations and was charge a cover fee per head to gain entrance ,we settled for that given we had already waited 30 for entrance and paid the entrance fee . Everyone for the party arrived 15 min early to ensure it wouldn’t be a problem. The next issue occurs when an individual food come with no silverware . We asked 4 different waiting staff for assistance to be told by the last staff member “well y’all will have to to wait till it comes out the dishwasher”. When the silverware finally arrives the food is cold only for the same plate to be reheated with the same silverware that was given when was initially given back to be corrected, on top of the meat temperature being over cooked the second time . When bought to staff members attention the patron advised they didn’t want the meal after losing appetite from waiting so long and error .. staff member told the patron no we wont take it back and proceeded to disagree about the meat temperature and the order . When patron asked for the manager the waiter stated they was the manager and was done with the conversation and proceeded to walk away. Client asked for medium and received well done.

I’m going to start by saying this was my favorite stop during this trip to New Orleans, not my first time in the city but my first time here and it did NOT disappoint.
First piece of advice is to get there EARLY, if you do not have a reservation you will wait in a pretty long line in that blistering sun and that is not fun! They do a good job of keeping the line moving though, very efficient and accommodating. They have seating indoors and outdoors, the outdoor seating is preferred I assume because it is bigger and has more room for people to dance and vibe. They had these two MCs that curated an amazing vibe and were interacting with the patrons the whole time. High energy level, great music from the DJ too.
Service was great, servers were gorgeous and despite having a few tables our server gave us the attention we needed to get our food and drink orders out in a timely manner. She also gave us some recommendations for the night time flex which was much appreciated.
Now for the food……..delicious. Hands down the best food we had while we were here. We ordered Fried catfish & grits, shrimp lobster & grits, and the seafood omelette with a side of pancakes. Let me tell you all something, those pancakes might be the best I have ever had. Or the best I have had in a while, it could def be the banana foster element that takes them over the top but wow they are amazing. All the food was great, and we cleaned our plates. The whole experience was a 10/10, highly recommended.

The food was great, and I had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday with my friends. However, the service was poor from the start. As someone who hosts brunches myself, I try not to be “that” guest, but I cannot overlook what happened.
My server added a tip to my card without my permission. When I questioned why I hadn’t signed my tab, she handed the handheld device back—after already tipping herself. I had her correct it, but now I’m fighting with my bank over duplicate charges. To make matters worse, the business does not return calls and does not respond to messages on social media.
Great food means nothing if customer service is lacking. Not having a working customer service number or a way to resolve billing issues is unacceptable. Unfortunately, this shows the business values taking money over valuing its customers.

We had Deja as our waitress and she was very nice and personable. The food was excellent. I had the nice burger and it was excellent. Everything was well cooked, the meat was well seasoned and the ingredients were fresh. The charbroiled oysters were great too. The lemon pepper wings were also very good. The baked potato is very big and the grilled shrimp tasted great also. Everything on the menu exceeded expectations. Would reccomend this place to anyone.

This place came as a recommendation, oh man were they spot on!! The service from the door was amazing Mia was our server she was informative and she knew the menu well she was attentive pretty and nice as can be. Thank you Mia for taking care of us! The drinks were fire !!!! 24.00 margaritas. So drink one and drink slow !!

The prices were high I had 12 chicken wings Brussels sprouts instead of fries (5.99 up charge) 1/3 on the oysters and two margaritas and I paid 117.00. Maybe that’s normal for Nola tho!
We didn’t leave a tip because of the 20% service fee added to each check seems a bit steep but heyyy.
Great place nice environment just pricey!!!
So come ready to eat good and pay plenty!!!
