my husband and I have been searching for a good steakhouse. (more him than me) we’ve tried the ones that get those influencer reviews and sadly those are NOT it!! Those are actually pretty BAD!!

We were skeptical to try Nico’s because we’ll, we haven’t found a steakhouse we like, but we have to say it’s one of the best steakhouses in town and it’s so close to home so even better.

We had Nick and his crew serving us and
they were top notch! True steakhouse service! Nick recommended we try the crab cakes and boy were we glad we did! so good!! I had the french onion soup and it was really good! there was soup in my soup (there’s been a few steakhouses that don’t)
Nick recommended the bone in ribeye and the wagyu filet and we both got what he recommend. Bone in ribeye was yummy (had a bite) and my filet was yummy as well. both were ordered medium and both showed up medium! wow!!! He also recommended we try this peppercorn sauce.
OMG! Orgasmic! We got some to go. I’d come back just for that sauce!
The sourdough bread was yummy along with the butter – from france he said.
the drinks were also yummy!
We were celebrating my husband’s birthday (was supposed to be 2 birthdays but just one) but they still brought out 2 desserts and omg the desserts… black forrest cake is like a dream!! We will definitely be back! Thanks to Nick and his team for a wonderful night!

Had a great dinner at Nicco’s Steakhouse recently. The space feels cozy and intimate, especially with the fireplace going — it gives the whole room a warm, inviting energy. The bar setting adds to the vibe too, perfect for a relaxed night out without feeling overly formal.

We started with the tempura snow crab and it was a standout — light, crispy, and packed with flavor. Definitely recommend ordering it.

What really tied the night together was the DJ. The music selection was on point and set the vibe perfectly without overpowering the conversation. It’s not every steakhouse that nails both the food and the atmosphere, but this one does.

Looking forward to coming back.

This is located in the Durango Casino. They have plenty of parking and no parking fees. We had reservations for 8. We waited a little bit before we were seated. Food was exceptional here and the service was top notch. It was like a well-conducted orchestra from the drink order to cleaning our table for the next set of orders to dessert. We had the snow crab tempura, snow beef carpaccio, & raw oysters for starters. Everything was delicious. Then for main course, i had the filet mignon and it was cooked & seasoned perfectly. The quality of the beef was great. Then for dessert, we had the vanilla bean cheesecake and the warm butter toffee cake. The place was very nice and elegantly designed and great for group as well as for a romantic evening.

Best service as I have ever had for the happy hour. I feel I was wtreated the same as a regular customer. What I like the most is the smallest part of the meal is also so good. Bread for the table, Butter, Oliver oil hmmmm so good. Everything was delicious, service was top-notch excellent and greatest in the details.

Do not come here.

We came here because of a restaurant comp from Durango but even after a $300 comp the total came out to $300. Pricing is high end restaurant pricing and so I held my expectations as such.

The food is mediocre at best, creamed spinach was cold, undercooked meat, and our food took almost 2 HOURS to come out. It was busy and I get it but that’s absolutely ridiculous. You don’t come to a high end restaurant to wait 2 hours for your food. The service was good but the food was absolutely unacceptable. No one should pay the prices they are charging here for the quality of food they serve. I will not be coming back to this establishment and I advise others to stay away. There was not a single dish, from the many that we had, that I could say was worth that we paid and that’s even including our $300 comp.

Amazing every time here. I love how all the ingredients are locally sourced and there is no seed oils used. The sourdough with the French butter is awesome.

This by far was one of the best steakhouses I’ve had. The atmosphere and the aesthetic are beautiful. The service was great specifically, our waiter Robbie was top notch. His kindness, attentiveness, knowledge was impressive. We have East Coast oysters, which were amazing. Also ordering the Caesar salad, the lobster bisque (literally the best I’ve ever had in life), and filet mignon (melts in your mouth). We stayed past closing time and was not rushed out of the restaurant. One of the best experiences overall I’ve had and I can can’t wait to go back.

Situated within the Durango Casino, I would characterize Nicco’s as both elegant and chic.

The restaurant boasts stunning decor, featuring impressive modern wall fireplaces and a blend of plush velvet couches, booths, and table seating. The sophisticated color palette of champagne, complemented by soft and deep wood tones and gold accents, creates a warm ambiance, enhanced by beautiful modern wall art.

The service was outstanding. I particularly appreciated the staff’s attire, which ranged from the Chanel-inspired hostess ensembles to the distinctive suits worn by the waitstaff. Overall, the service was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.

The cocktails were delightful, and the wine selection was notably impressive. As for the food, it was equally exceptional. My salmon was cooked to perfection, just as I had requested, and the salad was lovely. My friends enjoyed their meals as well, including shrimp appetizers, the pasta, bone marrow and crab, all of which were excellent.

The star at the end of the meal was their 18 layer chocolate cake, wow, a must try

One piece of feedback I would offer is that the televisions in the adjacent room to the main dining area detract from the otherwise elegant dining experience.

Overall, our experience at Nicco’s was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable meal.

As a Functional Naturopathic Doctor, I am exceedingly selective with food & rarely eat out anymore due to chemicals, dyes, seed oils, mRNA etc…I saw one of Nicco’s wait staff, Steven in a TT video explaining their clean ingredients & attention to quality. I had to try it. I took my 2 little ones on a mommy daughter date & was not disappointed. Though it was not a big table (less money for them) the staff treated us so well, the hostesses made accommodations for my girls & I to have a booth & the food itself was really amazing. The attention to detail is refreshing & we will definitely be back. The grass fed steak was mouth watering, the bread (we don’t eat grains due to the heavy pesticides & seed oils), was delicious. My 5 yr old left saying, can we come back tomorrow?
