Our first time visiting on a whim so we went in with no expectations. We were not that hungry so we ordered the wagyu teriyaki and French onion soup as an appetizer and then split a rib eye, onions, Yukon potato puree (loaded) and zip sauce. Service was wonderful – extremely tentative to our water glasses too which is always nice. Food was delicious and jam packed with flavor. Will be back.

My husband and I celebrated my birthday at Nibi this year.
Our food was absolutely amazing!
Our service was not.
Our server broke a glass on the table, she removed my water and got me a new one. My issue is that this set the tone for the evening.
The server then forgot my husband’s beer multiple times leaving him with out a drink most of our time there.
Food was absolutely amazing. Nothing to complain about there.
The hospitality in this pricy of a restaurant should be top notch! It’s not. I suggest doing secret shops if you want to see what the customers see besides the food. I added a picture of our meal. Peep our empty drinks.

We decided to get away and have dinner. I wanted Oysters so we chose NIBI. I will say this, we enjoyed every moment. Our food was really good and the light seasoning was perfect. The staff are always on point at providing a nice experience. Our server was absolutely amazing. She referred a Michigan Made sweet red wine and it was delicious. We’ll be back again of course.

We ate there for the first time on 3/12/25. We had absolutely no expectations since we didn’t know the menu or anything about the restaurant itself. We chose to eat there because we were essentially eating free.

First, the staff was friendly and attentive. There’s nothing bad I can say about the host that sat us our or server. At no time did we have to wait for refills, food, etc. This is a major plus.

The food is given 4 stars due to cost and the taste of the Caesar salad. While interesting and petty presentation, the salad dressing itself wasn’t delicious at all. Almost flavorless you could say? There were two in our party and neither of us liked it. Now, cost…. while the rest of our meal was absolutely mouth watering, the cost was outrageous. The steak and lobster tail was $110 with most, very small sides, being between $8-$15. I understand good food is an art but a final bill of $185 for two people is not worth the trip back if having to pay out of pocket. I still give the food 4 stars but be prepared to pay.

The atmosphere was ok. Tables spaced out nicely with cloth tablecloth. 4 stars due to noise and somewhere inebriated patrons coming from the casino for dinner. While Nibi portrays itself to be elegant, it’s somewhat difficult to achieve fully when you have a table or two speaking and laughing quite loudly. These must have been regulars as the server and manager were laughing with them quite often. Note that the manager visited this table at least 5x while we dined but we didn’t see him visit other tables or ours to inquire on our visit. Unsure if they don’t do this or not but most restaurants we visit do, even small scale ones.

Such a beautiful Sunday evening dinner. Appetizers were the trio and the ravioli. Soup was tomato bisque which could use more croutons but the bread worked out fine, and French Onion soup. Entree was the Sea Bass and the Tuna. I do recommend them both, very delicious. Our wait staff took great care of us, kept our glasses full, and most of all he smiled and described our meals wonderfully.

Horrible experience! My husband and I went there for NYE. I was so excited because I heard it is the only Michelin star rated restaurant on our side of the state. I’m not a foodie, but I figured that spoke volumes about what we might expect. Wrong. Our waiter was inattentive, impatient and, frankly, rude. The food was average. I mean it was really just “ok”. I paid almost 300 bucks for the most average NYE dinner with the most below-average waiter I’ve ever had my displeasure to experience. My husband and I only drink 1-2 times a year and he wouldn’t let my husband order a drink that had more than 2 types of liquor, despite there being specialty drinks on the menu with more than 2 types of liquors. What on earth? If you want to be gaslighted for dinner, make a reservation here.

We have been to the other restaurants in the casino since they opened, but this was the first time at Nibi. The staff was great, and everything was timed well. It was a special occasion and they gave us a free crème brûlée, which was delicious! The Caesar salad, chicken and rice soup, and the pork chop were all very good. We would return for another special occasion.

There were only two things that weren’t my favorite, the first being the location next to the hotel bar right. I feel like Nibi’s old location it was a bit quieter (it’s now by the hotel entrance), and I thanked the host for seating us far away from that bar (it was loud that night!). The second thing is the prices, as it was expensive for most of the entrees, and we definitely saved up for a special occasion (a birthday).

I ordered a Delmonico steak 80.00 with 1/2 lb Crab legs 40.00, side of asparagus 8.0, onions 8.0, and mushrooms 12.00. The crab legs weighed maybe 2 oz, (I worked as a postal clerk +32 yrs I know), I brought this to the attention of manager and he brought one more piece that was maybe 3oz, so that somewhat was resolved. The Crab was so so. Next came the steak, it was the second worse steak I’ve ever had, (the first worse was served literally raw, from Logan’s) I hesitated to bring to managers attention because that’s stressful. But I was in tears as this was supposed to be an enjoyable mini vacation from my stressful life, and a 140.00 meal is rare and should be savored. So I told him and he brought out a filet but still charged me for the ribeye. The filet was tender but too salty and over seasoned. The asparagus and onions were good. Over all I wasted two 1/2 hours on this overpriced Denny’s quality meal. The manager did take steps to resolve the issues but I had a pounding headache by the end. You can check my reviews I am usually very generous with my score. Perhaps this very expensive restaurant should invest in a talented watchful head chef.
