I visit Nibana regularly and very happy to recommend the restaurant. Shah runs a very tight ship, along with H. The waiting staff are generally very attentive, helpful and friendly. The food is excellent too, very tasty and always arrives at the table hot. An excellent range of spicy and milder curries for the the not so adventurous diner. A great range of beers to complement the food too!

Great food, enjoyed it very much. Bit more expensive than I usually pay, my ballpark is £28-30 for most places I visit on my travels. Here, for the same items I get with every meal, was nearly £38. I don’t live in Plymouth so not sure what the average is. But don’t let that put you off, definitely worth a visit

It’s a product of its own success. Very noisy . not the place for a romantic dinner for sure. There was less noise outside of the busy road than inside the restaurant. Sadly i won’t be returning but will glady order a take away.

Would have liked to try this restaurant, but we were looked up and down by a snotty waiter who suggested we should get a Takeaway instead. If the food is as bad as the service, I wouldn’t bother.

I really love this restaurant. I left Plymouth in 2008 but come back every year to see family. I tend to order takeaway but this year my wife and I went in for a date night. The food, service and atmosphere were all fantastic. The owner and the staff are lovely and welcoming. We ordered vegan food over three courses and had a great time.

We ordered a take away as we were on holiday. The food arrived on time. The starters were excellent, very tasty and fresh. Unfortunately the main meal wasn’t of the same quality and the meat was very hard. Such a disappointment after the poppadoms and pickles and the starters.

The restaurant has very good ambience, prompt service and good quality of ingredients. The taste of curries is good too. Unfortunately most main dishes have heavy added sugar, which is definitely not authentic Indian. I request the Management to address this and then Nibana would earn full 5 stars!
