Ambience- classic American! Great ambience, diner style and cosy on a cold summer morning
Service- very good! Polite and warm service staff, great recommendations for food!
Food- great breakfast selection, would recommend the eggs Benedict! Coffee and tea is also refillable for 2.75 so do get that too!
Overall- would give it a 8.5/10!

I honestly don’t see how there’s so many poor reviews. It can get a little pricey, but that’s expected in this area. The food came out quickly, and just the way we ordered it, even the steak! (Which honestly most places get steak wrong.) Our server Michael was awesome. His personality is great, and like I said, everything came out quickly and correctly.
The only thing that could’ve been better is the prices, and a larger selection, but it was better than what we had expected based on these reviews. It was good! (:

Positives first- open till mid night, great service friendly staff , kids had a nice game room to play which is a part of the hotel so they had a good time until good arrived. Negatives! Even though the food looked great it was tasteless. Was very disappointed as good was bland. No taste at all. And the chips which we were all looking forward to were soggy and didn’t taste good. ( Parmesan chips) the burgers, the Spanish rice all didnt taste good at all. So for a food lover like me after a tiring day it was a disappointment and definitely not worth the money. ( oh and the cocktail I tried was very watery) so I would not recommend this place to eat.

Horrible slow service for food that isn’t good. Waited over 45 minutes for a salad with some chicken and an order of fish and chips. We ended up getting it to go at the end because of not wanting to miss fireworks over the Falls. The coleslaw was disgusting and there was no tarter sauce. I’ve never been to a place that served fish fish and chips with no tartar sauce and so overpriced. Then I get a six pack of Miller lite to go. $18 for a six pack of the most skunk beer I’ve ever tasted in my life. The best I had while waiting for the food wasn’t even cold. Where I’m from, in the middle of Pennsylvania, nobody drinks warm beer. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy

Definitely the worst restaurant I have ever eaten at. We came across the border to meet some family and were originally looking for a Denny’s. Yelp told us that this building used to be a Denny’s attached to the Days Inn Hotel. As soon as we sat down, we realized this restaurant was called the Niagara American Grill. We had a party of 10 which included 2 vegetarians and 2 kids.
We mainly ordered chicken items, nachos and fries because there were not vegetarian options.
I would not recommend the Chicken Tenders, because they were completely overpriced for what you get. It’s priced at $10 for 5 large chicken strips without any sides which was very disappointing.
Additionally we ordered vegetarian nachos which was truly the worst item on the menu; it came on a decent sized platter with burnt jalapeños, black olives and cheese that was not fully melted. It also had what looked like, macaroni and cheese sauce drizzled all over it, making it extremely soggy.
The service was friendly though.

The food was pretty descent and affordable. The wait staff can be more enthusiastic about the food and about serving their customers. I believe they were overwhelmed at the amount of visitors they get and cannot cope with the demand for attention. Ate here twice. One time we had really great service. The other time, our server cannot get our meals down correctly and had to exchange it several times.

This place was a let down. The server was very friendly and helpful. But the food tasted like heated left overs. The Parmesan chips were burnt and soggy and the cheese was not melted. Chicken tenders were soggy. The Spanish rice was bland. The burgers had no taste except salty. Please avoid late at night.

had some take out so not the whole dining experience. food was good and made right. talked to the people there for a bit and they were friendly. expected the price to be a bit higher then a basic restaurant just because its in a hotel right on the falls. not sure all the one star reviews for google. has good reviews on other rating sites.

Pretty shocked at the 1 star reviews. Certainly the prices weren’t the cheapest, but compared to the Rainforest Cafe or Hard Rock it is more of a laid back not too crowded diner. We had dinner, desert, and came for breakfast. No complaints, extremely good, and the manager we had serve us was very sweet.

This was one of the worst restaurant experiences we’ve ever had. Our meals were supposed to come with bread and salads. Over 40 minutes hasd passed since ordering, when we asked the waitress about the salads. She said “I don’t know. Maybe they come out with the food”. Well about an hour and a half after ordering, our food finally came out and still no salads and no bread. So we asked again. Eventually she brought the “salad” (a small plate of only lettuce) about 10 minutes after our meals, and told us the cook forgot to make the bread and he was doing it now. The food was terrible. You could honestly tell it was basically a microwave meal they dumped on a plate. After about 20 more minutes, we asked again about the bread because the table next to us was also talking to their waitress about not getting their salads and bread. She told us again the cook forgot and was making it now. I told her to forget the bread to which she turned to the other table and said “you want his bread when it comes out? He doesn’t want it”. The waitress claims she told her manager that the meal took a long time. However, we never saw a manager and nobody ever asked us about it or apologized for the service. Don’t waste your time or money.
