We started by sharing the Vietnamese White Rose dumplings, which were delicate, beautifully presented, and full of flavor — a perfect way to begin the meal. For the main course, I had chicken served in passion fruit shells, which was both creative and delicious, with a wonderful balance between sweetness and freshness. My partner chose the shrimps with lemongrass and chili, and it was equally impressive — fragrant, slightly spicy, and perfectly cooked.
If I had to mention one small thing, it would be that there were limited options for those of us who prefer boneless chicken fillet. But aside from that, the food tasted absolutely heavenly.
The atmosphere was calm, cozy, and relaxed, and the service was very friendly and attentive throughout the evening. Overall, a wonderful dinner — we would happily return.
From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and attentive. The staff were smiling, polite, and quick to take our order. Everything came out promptly, freshly prepared, and beautifully presented. You can tell they really care about both the food and the customer experience.
We ordered several dishes to share, and honestly, everything was excellent. The papaya salad was fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor — perfectly balanced with the right mix of sweetness, acidity, and crunch. It’s one of those dishes that immediately wakes up your appetite and sets the tone for a great meal.
The wontons were crispy, golden, and absolutely delicious — probably some of the best we’ve had in Vietnam. They were filled generously, with a perfect texture and flavor that made them really stand out.
The fried rice with chicken was another winner. Simple, comforting, and packed with flavor, it had that perfect wok taste that only comes from freshly stir-fried ingredients. The chicken was tender, and the rice was cooked just right — not greasy, not dry, just perfect.
We also tried the local specialty Cao Lau, and it was fantastic. The noodles had that unique chewy texture that makes this Hoi An dish so special, and the flavors were rich and perfectly seasoned. It’s clear they know how to make authentic local food with care and skill.
Even the watermelon juice was exquisite. Fresh, cold, and naturally sweet — no artificial flavor or syrup, just pure fruit. It was the perfect refreshing drink to go with the meal.
One of the best things about Nhan’s Kitchen is how generous the portions are. Every dish is big enough to share, which makes it a great spot to go with friends or family. And despite the large servings and high quality, the prices are very reasonable — excellent value for money.
The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, with a nice balance between casual and cozy. It’s the kind of place where you immediately feel at ease and know you’re in for a good meal.
Overall, Nhan’s Kitchen deserves all five stars. The food is exceptional, the portions are huge, the staff are lovely, and everything we ordered was cooked to perfection — from the papaya salad to the wontons, fried rice, Cao Lau, and even the watermelon juice.
If you’re in Hoi An and looking for a place that combines great local dishes, generous portions, and friendly service, Nhan’s Kitchen is an absolute must
The passion fruit chicken tasted a bit bland to my liking and lacked umami. It was just more of like sour taste and that was it. Same with the fried rice. But it was similar to most shops in Central Vietnam. Serving size was adequate for 1 people with mediocre appetite.
Service was warm and quite attentive. Though we visited in a less busy time. It was good overall.
Absolutely LOVED the food! We came back the next night…& the next again!
Great food, warm service and a lovely, homely atmosphere! ♥️
This is a great place to grab some yumminess, any time of the day!
Ms. Ngoc Thi and her husband along with their lovely staff, run this amazing place, serving some really good food – not too heavy, lip-smacking, decently priced for a tourist destination!
My favourite – The Chicken Gravy cooked with potatoes and veggies! Loved the lightness of the spices that went into the dish! All my meals here when I visit Hoi An again!
Kids enjoyed their Pasta with red sauce and also their pizza even if it’s different to the traditional Italian one ( As They warn in their menu ).
Filled squid is a must to try ✅ recommended
The food was amazing, the waiters were really nice and tried their best to accommodate us, they offered recommendations, helped us with the spiciness levels and constantly made sure that we are enjoying the experience.
I had the chicken with the passion fruit sauce as recommended by the staff and I have to say it was a really nice surprise.
Highly recommend this place, you will not regret it.
Very thankful for the kind & friendly staff that made us feel so welcome ❤️ Can’t wait to visit again!
