Just visited here today and talking about our meal with my better half tonight I felt compelled to leave this review.
We moved to New Richmond a little over a year ago and of all the restaraunts (even the more expensive ones) I have NEVER had a bad experience at The Next Door Cafe. Every time I’ve visited I’ve been greeted with a smile, AMAZING service (glass has never been empty), always had a cheerful, friendly server (even with my obnoxious family, including a giant fur baby). They even brought Donner out a plate of his own, which I know he appreciated a TON! Some of the things I can HIGHLY recommend are the Jalapeño Bacon, Lava Cake, and some sort of Peanut Butter thing that is absolutely to die for (with a healthy scoop of ice cream)! This is a GREAT place to eat and definitely worth the stop if you’re driving through or a regular place to visit if you’re local!

The best breakfast in town, hands down. For 12 bucks I got a massive plate of eggs, bacon, sausage and a pancake. The eggs were perfectly scrambled with cheese, the bacon was just right, and the pancake was to die for. The restaurant was spotless, service was friendly/fast, value was tremendous and I go regularly now with friends and family from out of town. I wouldn’t get breakfast anywhere else!
On the other side of town the same breakfast would have cost me 19$ and the eggs would be cooked poorly with a side of bad attitude.

Talking and lollygagging horrible service & attitudes gossiping & this is what they put out as a medium rare steak then have the gall to tell me I’m wrong anyone else have an opinion on this.
Of all the fine dining and places I’ve worked idk anyone who would send this out as a medium rare steak if I’m wrong please give me insight.

Food was great. Service took a little bit however they were REALLY busy. It’s a nice local place to grab breakfast. Omelet was tasty and full of good stuff. In my opinion it would rival Keys. Strawberry flips are huge and sweet but not too sweet. Overall it was good value and we would go again.
