Conveniently located just inside Gate One, the Newport Officers’ Club is one of the Navy’s premiere clubs. It sits on the rocky shoreline of Narragansett Bay with sweeping views of the Newport Bridge, Jamestown and surrounding islands. The O’Club offers quality, excellence and value for every catered event, as well as a casual dining facility. The grand ballroom is the perfect setting for events such as weddings, dining-ins, dinner dances, luncheons and meetings. An authorized sponsor is required. Topside (winter)/Deck (summer) open to all base patrons with base access.

The food was delicious! This O Club was more of a bar than a family-friendly restaurant than a lot of other O Club’s. The portions were huge and I think they could cut the portions AND the prices in half and we would go more often. Great view!

First of all, you will need access to the base but if you do, definitely recommend the O club for lunch. They have a great selection of foods and drinks with several beers on tap. The view from the patio looking out over the water with the Pell bridge in the background is fantastic (patio closed during colder months). Love this place and will be back for more.

Pretty good food with a view. Lunch time can get busy and it took about 30 min from the moment we ordered to the moment the food arrived at our table (a Tues. afternoon). Plenty of tables and umbrellas on the patio.

I was a little apprehensive about going to this place based on some bad reviews. Honestly, it was a great place to go with an awesome view and a chill place to hang. The food was better than expected and the service was very friendly . Had some pizza and chips they did not disappoint.
