Overall I had a good experience here and would visit again. The Awful Awful shake was delicious – I had the Cookie Monster. There weren’t many people dining in, but the service was still a bit slow. I ordered the chicken sandwich with fries and mac and cheese – the sandwich was delicious, fries were average, but the mac looked like Kraft mac and cheese out of the box. It tasted like it, too, which wasn’t bad, just not very flavorful. They’re mostly known for their ice cream so I wasn’t being too picky about it. I hope to come back sometime and try some of the other Awful Awful flavors – very cool concept and tasted great!

I had high hopes for this place given it is a long standing establishment. Unfortunately the food was a big disappointment. The scrambled eggs were very rubbery—over done. The sausage was eerily similar to that pre-cooked microwaveable link sausage you can buy in the frozen section of a grocery store. It too was overcooked. The potatoes are just cubes of seasoned potatoes that were definitely kept frozen for too long. It really is a shame. For this place to have been around this long, the food had to have been better than this at some point. I might go back and try an Awful Awful but the actual breakfast food is a definite pass! Our waitress was pleasant and kind but smelled of cigarettes-so much so that it was a little off putting.

Must have gotten unlucky. Went here during our time in Rhode Island this summer. The server seemed highly inconvenienced by us and was quite rude. The food was pretty good except my order was entered incorrectly so just got the basic Big Beef instead of Big Beef “The Creamery Way” (commonly known as a patty melt). I probably don’t need to try again. The Awful Awful was decently good though!

Whenever we stay in Rhode Island we always make it a habit to eat at The Newport Creamery. It’s a very casual, comfortable eatery that serves up traditional breakfast, lunch, and dinner favorites. Prices are extremely reasonable and the wait staff is always courteous. We visit the Middletown RI location and have never been disappointed. Pictured is the Cheese Omelette breakfast. If you’re there later in the day, they have a wide selection of ice cream and shakes. Very good!

This creamery came highly recommended by locals and were happy we came here. The food was very reasonably priced and cooked perfectly. We ordered the stuffed French toast with strawberry cream cheese filling to share and a I got the creamy breakfast sandwich on the Portuguese sweet bread. Probably one of my favorite breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had.

This goes to specifically the tall and overly skinny black haired lady. This has gone on for about 2 years where I order and maybe 1/4 times do I get in and out with out any issues so now I figured this was worthy…. I went there recently for my lunch and I asked a simple question at the end, about how much a side was on my order and the lady said,” idk I just work here” she told me because she didn’t know how to itemize the receipt to deal with it or you don’t have to get it…. A pre made 32 milkshake and a side order of onion rings with a bbq sauce. It was too much to ask for the run down of the price…. Ever since that day I go in and get a disgusted look from her ( which I find comical when she is the ignorant one who doesn’t know how to do her job)we can also add that she forget the sauces every single time they do a to-go order for me I have to ask a second time (sometimes even a third)….. ps shout out to McDonald’s for asking 3 times when you pick up a to go order. Idk how those people can figure that out but not this place
