This was our first time dinning at Newk’s Eatery, and it was a fantastic experience! The service was superb with super friendly and helpful staff. The food was fresh and yummy. If I had any complaints it would be that they did not have a homemade style lemonade to serve, but that’s just personal preference. We went because that is where my mom chose to eat out for Mother’s Day; however, based on our overall experience we will definitely be back!

First time here. The layout of the restaurant was nice and atmosphere was just fine. My little girl liked the kids pizza with just the right amount of crunch in the crust. My wife said her pizza was good. I got the ultimate salad with honey mustard dressing which came with it. The salad had plenty of ingredients; but the dressing was way too spicy for me. I was caught off guard; because most honey mustard dressing have sweeter taste. Will try again but with different dressing.

9-17-19 Tuesday dinner. The ladies working at the front counter were super nice. They walked us through the unfamiliar menu considering it was our first time at this location. The restaurant appeared to be clean. The food was OK. Looking at the menu I thought it was going to be better though. This restaurant should have a build your own pizza opposed to only the options that they have one the menu. Overall it was not a bad experience and the food was better than fast food such as McDonald’s Wendy’s etc. I would return to this location.

Although it is a nice place to eat it can sometimes be dirty and quite hot. The food I would say is below par and can take a while for your food to get there I asked a kind gentleman how long it would take my food to get there, the boy said and I quote, “I don’t old man worry about your fat wife” I asked what his name was and he said his name was Joseph. It hurt my wife’s feelings I did not ask for a apology but may God rest his soul.

My daughter ordered the cajun comeback salad(the only one who ordered a salad BTW) Everyone else was completely through with their meal before she ever got her food. That was ridiculous. They told us both times we asked about it that the shrimp was still cooking. Shrimp DOES NOT TAKE THAT LONG TO COOK!!

I only come to Newk’s about once a year when I visit my mom in West Monroe. We always go after Sunday church and it is always crowded. But we always find a place to sit and get our food pretty quickly. There are a lot of choices on the menu. A lot of them are pretty healthy but don’t sound bland. It’s a winner for me.
