Apple Maps had just the one dollar sign as an indicator for the price of the food here, which usually means that you can get things for roughly the same price as perhaps Chick-fil-A or Culver’s but for the amount of food you get, it is definitely not equal to that price range. Granted, I will tell you that you’re definitely paying more for quality than quantity here, but I was slightly annoyed to find out that Apple Maps was mistaken in their price estimate for this place. This place is closer to Core Life in overall quality and cost. Maybe I just misunderstand price range ratings work, but I’m just basing this on my experience. Nice people and great environment though.

Angelica’s name is incredibly fitting for her because she’s an absolute ANGEL. Such a sweet pea to me and my daughter, and was SO helpful to accommodate dietary requests due to me being pregnant. We haven’t been to Newk’s in a few years but will be back regularly because she added a lovely sprinkle of magic to our day, and the food was yummy as well. ✨

Came in after the snow/ice storm and they had a limited menu but still had a lot of selections. My husband and I got the pizzas and they were super hot and had great flavor. We appreciate them being open during this weather! Restaurant was very clean at this visit as well.

A Cool Springs staple, this place has been here for a very long time. Overall positive experience, they have a good selection of sandwiches, pizzas, and salads. I recommend the Italian sandwich and the bread sticks. Good customer service and overall very pleasant atmosphere. I would recommend if you’re looking for a quick bite, but still want to sit down.

What the heck are these croutons?!? Bleh! Puke!
Admittedly, I don’t live near Newk’s anymore, and don’t get there like I used to when I lived close… but the Newk’s favorite salad has been my favorite for years. Like I put it on my favorites list ar my school where I teach! I was in the area today, and stopped by to get my ol’ favorite to go and I was left disappointed. One. I know the world is expensive – but it was almost $15 bucks now… and DEFFFFINITELY smaller than it used to be. Already a turn-off. And two, the homemade croutons y’all always had were THE best… and now it’s store bought, prepackaged junk! It was good, but I won’t be rushing back. I know y’all got bought out and changes are to be expected, but changes like this and going to pre-sliced cheese take away what made you a top tier deli all those years… and honestly now I’m feeling just meh about my “not so favorite anymore” salad. Such a bummer!

This location has taken a noticeable hit in service and maintenance since COVID, which is hard to pin on them, but still noticeable. The food is still very good, a bit better than Panera with the addition of pizzas. Strongly recommend any of the white sauces.

Stopped in here to pick up a Newk’s Que sandwich and Mac-n-cheese and oh brother were they out of this world good. The sandwich comes with the Alabama White Sauce, made famous by Big Bob Gibson’s bbq restaurant in North Alabama.
The sauce and the chicken were incredible. I also picked up a peanut butter Rice Krispie treat with a chocolate gnash glaze that put us across the goal line!!
I can’t wait to go back. Super friendly service and very clean restaurant.

I had a kids cheese pizza and mac n cheese. Food was fresh made and very good. Giving 3 stars bc no customizations are allowed. I dont like sauce (mayo, etc) on my sandwich and I’m picky. I asked if I could customize, bc I wanted a plain, simple sandwich (bread, meat, cheese – nothing like that on menu) and she said that customizations were not allowed. I told her I’d never been here before, hoping to get recommendations, but nothing. She wants a rude or anything. Just not very helpful. So overall experience is a 3.
